Chojozan Junmai Dry. It is dry but has a strong umami flavor. The contrast is strong after drinking it with chocolate. This is also a new sake for me, so I am grateful that I was able to encounter it here.

Yamawa mixture, which is not the type of sake you can drink as much as you want. This is a type of sake that mixes different types of sake with different characteristics. This type of sake is well-balanced and can be matched with any snacks. It is also good to drink while taking a break, even though it may be considered boring.

Sari Kanzashi. This may be my first time to drink this sake. I thought it might be a sake for heating since it has the word "kan" in it, but I got the impression that it is a wide-ranging sake that can be served both warmed and chilled. It has a full-bodied flavor that lingers on the tongue, but it also has a nice lightness to it that makes it easy to drink.

Isshaku-Suisei Special Junmai Sasanigori. As one would expect from the season of new sake, there are a few nigori (cloudy) sakes here and there. I am not a fan of cloudy doburoku level sake, but I have no problem with orikarami level sake. The bitterness of the lees is subdued, but a persistent bitterness comes slowly. It is easy to drink with no roughness.

Yoshida Kurau Hyakumangoku No Shiro. It is classified as a modern Yamahai junmai, but it is light and refreshing with a strong umami flavor. This is not the kind of sake that should be served at an all-you-can-drink event, but what's going on today? What is going on today?

Today we went to Kurando Sake Market in Shinjuku for the first time in a while. Sharaku Junmai Sake Hatsushibori. It's really not the kind of sake you can drink at Kurando's all-you-can-drink bar. It's fresh, gorgeous, and the acidity is just irresistible. Ahhhh, it's so good!

Ryuriki Junmai Shinryu Nishiki 70. It is said to be a new sake rice that is a combination of Yamadanishiki and Shinryu Nishiki. The bitterness spreads slowly on the tongue, followed by sweetness and aroma. This is the kind of sake rice I like. It has a very thick flavor. It is a fun sake to drink.

Raifuku Junmai Hiyoroshi. Ahhhh, the label... (´; omagaki) It's not in the fridge, it's out on the counter, and it's soaked in iced water. I can't help it. It is mellower and sweeter than the hiyaoroshi from Ganki. It has a faint citrus aroma.

GANKI daaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! Ganki Hiyoshi Oroshi Junmai. It's one of my favorite brands, so I'm very happy to be able to drink it here. It has a thick umami and richness, with an alcohol feeling that slowly seeps in. It's so good!

I was returning from an outing along the Tobu Tojo Line for various reasons. I took the Tokyo Metro Fukutoshin Line to Shinjuku Sanchome, because I had to take the Yamanote Line after going to Ikebukuro, which is a very expensive route. Since I had come to Shinjuku Sanchome, I decided to go to SAKE MARKET for the first time in a while. The first sake was Kamo Kanehide Special Junmai 13, which is a bit challenging to start out with a very dry sake, but sometimes it works. It is dry, but at the same time gentle on the palate. The soft alcohol taste slowly spreads and leaves the palate.
