At Aoto Koedo
Drinking Arabashiri and Kana-Utsu Sake
The freshness of the sake and the sharpness at the same time
and at the same time, the sharpness is typical of Niigata sake.
This is my first time to try this sake.
I can't help but enjoy it.
Sometimes I also enjoy yakitori with sake!
It's been a month since my last post...
The posts are piling up, so I'm going to bare them out as best I can!
And with this post, I have reached 100 check-ins!
When I started Sake-no-wa on New Year's Day this year, I was hoping to reach 100 by the end of the year, so I reached it surprisingly quickly.
Thanks to everyone at Sake-no-Wawa who always checks in on my posts.
Thank you very much!
The 100th check-in is also a commemorative one!
The Four Seasons Travel Series, Cherry Blossoms at Yuukyuuyama!
The day after the Nagaoka Sake Festival in September, I was strolling in the Setagaya area and unexpectedly encountered Sandeshi at a store I casually entered.
I thought it was a spring sake, but I guess it is year-round since it is bottled in August. That would be more appreciated! (LOL)
Both the top-rising aroma and the hint of aroma are overflowing with the umami of Koshi-tanrei!
If you warm it up, the umami will blossom even more.
It is the best and strongest.
Ah, it's Niigata sake.
If I didn't live in Niigata, I might not have fallen in love with sake so much.
I love my hometown, but I love Niigata more than my hometown.
Next up, 200 check-ins!
I wonder if I will be able to conquer all 47 prefectures before I get to the next 200 check-ins!
Good evening, FSB!
Congratulations on your 100 check-ins 🎉.
I love your milestone drink with your favorite drink in the Hall of Fame 😋.
Nice review that shows your love: ❣️
Let's keep enjoying the sake life at your own pace 🤗.
Hi, ma-ki-!
Thank you for your comment!
I've been struggling to choose the right sake for this milestone, which is why I've taken a break from posting 😂 I guess the sake you love is the best!
I'm still accumulating posts, so I'll take it easy 🙋♀️
Hi Jay & Nobby!
Thank you so much! Sorry it's been so long 🙇♀️ Traveling and drinking go hand in hand (lol) I'd love to go on a Tochigi trip sometime soon 🍶Thank you for all your comments!
Mellow and gentle on the palate
Full rice flavor and aroma
Soft and smooth on the throat
Easy to drink without any quirks
Suitable for any kind of food
Good as a food sake
It's quite tasty.
Fifth drink? I don't remember.
As expected of a daiginjo, a refreshing drink.
Spicy, with a clean aftertaste, a good sake!
It's just past 1:15!
The event is 2 hours long, time is running out!
It starts out tin-cold, and the spiciness of the sake, or perhaps the aroma of rice, comes quickly in the aftertaste and quickly fades away. As it gradually reaches room temperature, it mellows out and the sense of umami becomes stronger and more pleasant on the palate. It goes great with the ume shiso rolls of swordfish. Goes well with the fat of fish. It also goes well with dry foods such as okaki. A type of sake that goes well with a wide range of snacks, but not so well with fruits.
It is clear and colorless, with aromas of cooked rice, honeysuckle, and pear. The attack is rather strong, with refreshing acidity, moderate sweetness, a hint of bitterness, and a rather long finish.

This brewery is located in Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture.
Gohyakumangoku" rice produced in Niigata Prefecture is polished to 60%.
It has a soft aroma of rice, a full flavor of rice, and a gentle sweetness
The taste has a soft sweetness like that of fine white sugar and a dry, crisp, gentle aftertaste.
Dry and crisp with a gentle aftertaste.
