It's been a while since I've had Aizu Shikon 🍶. I've been drinking more and more Omachi lately 😺. It has a mellow, umami-guchi taste that is THE Aizu taste 😌. I'll pair this with the unmistakable No. 1! Edamame, the batter's dish. The one on the left is a Koriyama City brand green sweet ✨as fragrant and sweet as tea beans 😊The one on the right is a dacha bean from Yamagata Prefecture ✨small but with a concentrated aroma and sweetness that is very impressive 😆. Tonight, I would like to share a glass of edamame with you 🍶.

It was the day of the Ox in the summer, so we went to a nearby eel restaurant 🏃. There were only two kinds of sake: Kikusen and Aobuchigo from Takizawa Sake Brewery. The latter was the only sake available 🍶. It has been a long time since I have had sake with aluzoe, but it was delicious and brought out the refreshing taste well 😊. Best match for the shiroyaki👍

I was in a hurry to drink it a month after opening the bottle, but thanks to the chilled storage, there was no major change in taste😅. Tonight, I served it with cold fried eggplant & soaked komatsuna (Japanese komatsuna) 🍶. The myoga topping on the eggplant reminds me of summer and goes perfectly with the cold sake 😉.

I bought two bottles over the winter and stocked up, finally the last one 😣. The gasiness and lees combine to make an adult calpis soda 😋 with a dry and sharp aftertaste 😌. A good one for those who don't like sake 😉. Tonight, I'm having it with soba & teppanyaki rice bowl from Aizu Naraya 🍶.

This is the second bottle this year of Watanabe Sota Shoten's original Aizu Musume🍶. Personally, this is my favorite Aizu Musume 😍. The top aroma is like ripe bananas, The top aroma is like ripe bananas with a hint of fresh melon 😌. Too good 😂. Tonight, I'll be serving it with fried cartilage 🍶.

Stocked up. Second bottle of nigori sake this year 😏. It has a dry taste and is a great food sake ❗ I looked in the fish shop and found some rare Mexicali 😲! I used to eat it all the time when I was back home 😌😌. Tonight, I'll have a glass of sake with fried Mexicali 🍶.

Summer sake brewed with Hitogokochi from Nagano Prefecture. Even though it is a summer sake, it has 16% alcohol. It is a summer sake, but it is still 16% alcohol, The aroma is subdued and it goes in easily. It goes well with summer vegetables such as edamame (green soybeans) and chilled tomatoes 🍅. Tonight, I will drink it with fried noodles with bean curd 🍶.

My favorite Sharaku✨. It's been a while since I've had a fire-aged Junmai sake. Unlike the raw sake, the aroma is calmer and the body is fuller, It has a richness. It has a broad palate that welcomes any kind of snacks. Tonight, I'll have bonito sashimi and meat tofu with this sake.

I bought it for the first time because I heard it was a gorilla recommendation on a liquor store's installment. I was not a fan of the unique acidity of Yamahai, but it doesn't bother me at all and I can drink it easily 😋. I'm going to drink it with yellowtail kama tonight 🍶. June 20, 2024 postscript Impressions after 10 days since opening the bottle. The gasiness has diminished, I can feel the original sweetness of the rice 😊. I'll be serving it with grilled chicken tonight 🍶.
