It is no exaggeration to say that Umenoyado is proud of its "Aragoshi" series. This time, I had the popular Momo (peach) from the Aragoshi series. The fruitiness of the peach and the slushiness of the sake make it very easy to drink, and it lowers the alcohol's characteristic sensation of depriving the drinker of water. This makes it a so-called "bad sake" that you end up drinking too much of. But after only five pours, I felt strangely intoxicated.... It was so bad that I didn't follow up with another round of drinks...

At the Tatsuriki store in Himeji's Grand Festa, I found a sake that I had not seen before and decided to give it a try. I knew it tasted good, but I had already drunk more than 4 gou of sake by the time I tried it, so I was in a state of stupidity and couldn't understand the details. It is important to drink the right amount of sake.

MISA Junmai Ginjo Haru Nigori, a limited edition spring sake from Nada Kiku, was added to the limited lineup from 2021. It is one of the few sakes that are fire-fermented once in the bottle can, and if it is the same as last year, the initial batch will be the last. Normally, this sake is not sold outside of the Nadagiku brewery's direct sales outlets, but thanks to the influence of Corona, I found out that they had brought it to the Hankyu Umeda Department Store for sale, and since I couldn't taste it last year, I asked my partner to get it for me. I am really grateful to my partner. This is the first time I tried it this year, and the aroma is very long for a junmai ginjo. It was quite different from my impression of Nada Kiku. It is not often that I have encountered a muddy sake with a lingering fragrance, and I am grateful that I was able to have this valuable experience.

Nadagiku's seasonal Junmai Nigori Sparkling. It seems that Nadagiku's bottles undergo secondary fermentation in the bottle differently, and the one we got this year was considerably less sushwashy. Well, this is interesting because it is a part of the enjoyment.
