Dry special junmai sake from Daishinshu. I chose this sake for its cost performance, but it has a fresh and light Muscat-like mouthfeel. It also has a very nice sharp taste. I recommend this sake for its good cost performance.
Shoki-Mai Nama-Moto Junmai-Daiginjo Yamae-Nishiki, limited edition sake from Sanada, Ueda City. The flavor and umami of the rice spreads while the rich and heavy taste is felt. It is a roasty and stately sake.
Nigori sake from Kuroemon XVI. Be careful opening this one! It will pop. The sake itself is cloudy with a small amount of moderate gas. The taste is rich and fruity, the aroma fresh and very delicious.
Repeat purchase is a must!
It's frankly delicious, but I feel it's even better if you let it sit for a bit. It has a fruity, muscat-like flavor. It also has some acidity to tighten it up.
Gokotsuru is still delicious. It has a strong, dark flavor. The aroma is also moderately fruity. It is good on the first day, but it is even better after a few days. It is highly recommended as a food sake.
The aroma is melon-like and fruity, and the mouthfeel is rich and thick. The aftertaste is crisp and clean. It is well balanced and goes well with meals.
It has a mild pineapple-like fruity taste on the palate, followed by a mellow, voluptuous, and rich flavor. It is easy to drink and very tasty with a fizzy, bubbly taste.
I have always wanted to drink the classic Sentori, Mukonin.
It was my first time to drink it, and it was very good! Personally, I think it is a mellow and aromatic version of Sogapère Eiffice, which is like a combination of sake and white wine. It goes well with food and is great as a food wine.
It is also very cost effective.
Yamazan Sake Brewery in Ueda, Shinshu.
Sake brewing had been difficult for a long time, but it was restarted by the successor of the business.
This is a light nigori, unfiltered, unpasteurized sake. It is a classic junmai sake that combines the refined rice flavor of Hitogokochi with a fruity aroma, acidity, sweetness, bitterness, and other complex flavors, and has a lingering aftertaste that easily relaxes the palate. Very tasty! This sake is probably not distributed nationwide at this time.
The label is simple but very stylish!
Shinshu Kamerei from Ueda, Shinshu. It is no longer quite easy to obtain. It has a mild flavor and sweetness on the palate with a slight gassy feeling. It is a refreshing, fresh, and very tasty sake.
This sake is probably only available at some liquor stores in Ueda City. This sake is made by the Tozawa Sake Rice Project in Sanada, Ueda City, and is a type of sake that I have never had before. I can't describe it well, but it is delicious.
The aroma is fresh, as is typical of nama-shu, but very restrained. The first sip is also very refreshing, like water, but the final umami flavor is present, making it very easy to drink and delicious.
The aroma is also very good, and it goes down very well!
We drank this lightly muddy sake last year as well. This year again, it's Onamisan! It is a very fresh sake with a gaseous taste.
The aroma is gorgeous and the bitterness is very nice without being too sweet.
It is a delicious sake.
Shinshu Kamerei has become a popular sake in Ueda, Shinshu.
The production is small and it is quite difficult to obtain, but I got a bottle of Sanke Nishiki, an unfiltered, unpasteurized sake. It is really delicious. It has a sweet, fresh, fruity, and rich mouthfeel. The aftertaste is refreshing and you can go on and on. It would be great if it were more available.
The aroma is fresh and apple-like. The first sip is full of the rich flavor of rice. It has a heavy body, but is light at the end, making it very easy to drink and delicious. You can drink more and more of it. It is a very tasty sake!
The palate is full of fruitiness and juicy at first sip, but the sweetness is kept to a minimum and the aftertaste is crisp and dry.
As a person who is not very good at drinking alcohol, I am not a fan of the final flavor and the alcohol taste.
It smells exactly like Delicious apple and lychee as it claims. It is very close to white wine, and even those who do not like alcoholic beverages may find it very easy to drink. It goes well with wine-like snacks as well.
Sake and construction equipment professional, Fumio . Shinanotsuru, which I learned about from a tile i.sake.professional. It's only the third of its kind for me, but this one's another Uminosuke Battaro! Fruity and muscat-like aroma spreads. The moderate acidity is also good. The aftertaste is smooth and clean. It is hard to believe that it is priced in the 2,600 yen range!
This is a cloudy, unfiltered, unpasteurized sake. It has a fresh aroma, a clean mouthfeel, and a slightly gaseous, slightly effervescent taste. It has a lingering bitterness and goes well with fish as well as other dishes. It is a sake with a good sharpness.
