~~ Japanese Sake for Home Drinking No.319 [2022-No.36] Nitoshi" Yamada-Nishiki 65 Junmai Nigori Nama-Shu 🍶An "💥Abomb Beware💥" active nigori sake that comes out every year at this time of the year. Maruishi Brewery even goes out of their way to say on the label, "We recommend that you purchase and open the bottle if you are used to opening activated sake" ‼️. This is the third year I have purchased it, and this one is the most vigorous and rambunctious. I opened the bottle with an ice pick to release the gas, but it took about 15 minutes for it to settle down 😆. The taste is the best match between the intense gasiness and the richness of nigori. It is thick but light and crisp, so you will never get tired of drinking it at all🤣. It's hard to open the bottle, but it's one of my personal top 3 favorite sake 👍.

~~ Japanese Sake for Home Drinking No.318 [2022-No.35] URARA hassen for spring This sake has a very unusual label in the fridge of the store, but as the title "URARA" and the Linda Yamamoto-like label suggest, it is light and perfect for the spring weather 🌸. It is slightly dry, but has a gentle sweetness that is just like spring, and the pleasant acidity makes it easy to drink. I would like to drink it outside on a sunny spring day 😊.

The sake is slowly aged at low temperatures and stored in small tanks, daring to expose it to air to let the flavors open up😊. I think that Musical Instrument Masamune is characterized by its clean and clear acidity, and this sake also allows you to enjoy juicy, fruity, sweet acidity like muscat or grapefruit, with a light taste and delicious 🤣.

Choshu Shuzo, the brewer of Tenbi, has become even more popular since it was introduced in dancyu magazine, and it is getting harder and harder to find 😅. This time Momoten has a mild aroma and a light flavor. The soft and gentle mouthfeel is impressive. It is easy to drink and delicious with citrus-like acidity, sweetness, and a refreshing gassy taste 🤣. Sake to drink while viewing cherry blossoms🌸

Japanese Sake for Home Drinking No.314 [No.32 in 2022] Yamagata Masamune" Geki Nigoromi Junmai Ginjo I wanted to try this sake. It is a special nigori sake blended with Omachi, Yamadanishiki, Dewa Sanzan, and other orizake, and the amount of orizake was so great that when I️opened the bottle, the orizake came all the way to the top and almost spurted out even though the stopper had a hole in it🤣. The taste is a dry type of nigori sake. It is so rich and creamy that you can sometimes feel the rice mash, but the dry taste and gasiness make it easy to drink 😆 The last drink with the ori left at the bottom of the bottle was super tasty 🤩.

Sake Mirai is a sake rice developed over many years by Takagi Shuzo, famous for its "Jyushidai" brand, and is characterized by its gorgeous aroma and elegant sweetness😊. Akabu's "Sake Mirai" also has a gorgeous aroma with a hint of sweetness. In the mouth, it has a delicate gaseous taste with a refreshing sweetness that spreads quickly and is light and refreshing 😆 This is a beautiful sake that shows the high level of quality sake rice and the sake brewery that produces it 🤣.

Sake for home drinking No.312 [No.30 in 2022] Snow Woman Junmai Ginjyo Activated Nigori Nama Sake (🍶"Kuroemon XVI") Nice to meet you 🍶. It is a junmai ginjo active nigori raw sake made from "Hitogochi" sake rice produced in Nagano Prefecture, and if you are not careful, the sake will spurt out when you open the bottle 😅. It is a sweet and delicious nigori sake, with a strong nigori and sweetness from the rice, but with a strong acidity in the second half, which makes it easy to drink with a gaseous feeling 😆I personally think it is one of the best nigori sake 🤣️I really liked it 🤣.

Japanese Sake for Home Drinking No.311 [No.29 in 2022] Kurodasho Yamada Nishiki 🍶 "Kurodasho Yamada Nishiki" (light nigori) 🍶A sake that I look forward to every year, sold completely by pre-order, with no information on production or rice polishing other than the fact that the sake rice is Kurodasho-grown Yamada-nishiki 😆. Fresh and gentle aroma is pleasant and very soft on the palate☺The balance of nigori sweetness, acidity, and slight bitterness is very good and very delicious ‼️I personally found it tastier than last year🤣.

Sake for home drinking No.310 [No.28 in 2022] Nisato" Banzai Shichijyu Nama-zake (draft sake) I'm a day late for 🍶#Ni-Usagi Day 😱. This time I also got this sake on the "Maruishi Day" held last week. I think this will be the second time I've had a fresh barrel of Banzai 70 😃. The graininess of the flavor is enhanced by the aroma of cedar barrels 😆 This time I let it sit for 3 days after opening the bottle and the gassiness was gone and the flavor became rounder and deeper, changing my taste buds to my liking 🤣.

Japanese Sake for Home Drinking No.309 [No.27 in 2022] Nito" Dewa Sanzan 55 Nama Nama Sake I had been looking forward to this 🍶 Dewa Sanzan by Nito. The brewery was later than usual and I was able to get it on Maruishi Brewery's "Maruishi Day" held last week😊. The aroma is very nice, with the richness you would expect from Nitousato, but the taste is very clean and refreshing like Dewa Sanzan 😆 I think it has a little more sweetness than last year 🤣. I'm glad that I've been drinking Nito so many times, and I'm getting a better sense of the different flavors of each rice and the different brewing years 😃.

You can have the rich nigori raw sake bottled right in front of you 😆. The aroma and taste of this nigori sake is extremely fresh and rich, but the fine and light fizziness makes it refreshing and clean 🤣🤣It's not an easy sake to drink, but it is very delicious 😅️It's 250ml so I finished it in a few minutes.

The pink label reminds us of cherry blossoms in full bloom. It is a lightly cloudy, gassy sake with a fruity taste with sweetness and acidity reminiscent of peaches and strawberries. Silky and delicate, it is a beautiful sake with a very refreshing finish and a pleasant aroma that passes through the nose 😊.

I've had the hi-ire sake before, but this is my first time drinking the nama sake 😊. The best feature is the sweet fruity aroma! When you pour it into a glass, the aroma spreads quickly and raises your expectations before you drink it 😆 The flavor is as intense as that of barbecued meat, and the mellow aroma passes through your nose, making it delicious. I couldn't help but drink too much 🤣.

It took me a while to get to the sake, opening and closing the lid over and over again 🤣. The taste was dry and gassy but crisp and quite to my liking 😊After about 3 days from opening the bottle, the bitterness decreased and it tasted even better 😃.

This time, the sake was "Saku Iseshima Concept", a private brand of Sakanoten Morishita. Japanese Sake No.300 [No.18, 2022] Ise Nishiki Junmai Nama Genshu This is the 300th bottle of sake I've drunk at home🎊. But before the 300th bottle, I got infected with corona, and last week I suffered from a high fever, headache, joint pain, etc. 😰😰Good thing I recovered in a few days, but it took a long time for my sense of smell to come back💦. It's a relief to finally be able to smell it this week though I was worried it would be fatal to my sake drinking if I couldn't smell it due to the after-effects 😊. This time, the sake I tried was made from Ise Nishiki, which is said to be the source of Yamada Nishiki. The aroma and taste are gentle, without any peculiarities, and very easy to drink.
