My wife has been wanting to drink it for a long time, so I bought it.
This is the second bottle in my life, and it is still an easy drinking sake.
Tanaka Rokuugo has a unique taste that is hard to describe...
NHK morning drama "Omusubi".
Made from 100% Yamadanishiki produced in Itoshima.
Moderate aroma, just the right amount of sweetness.
Delicious sake that is clear and crisp.
It was a well-balanced, beautifully impressive sake.
One more favorite has been added.
Tanaka Rokuugo Itoshima Yamadanishiki Junmai Sake" by Itoshima Shuzo
This is one of the representative bottles of Shiraito Shuzo, the only sake brewery in Japan that follows the historical "Hanegi Shibori" method. The representative brand "Tanaka Rokuugo" uses 100% Yamadanishiki produced in Itoshima, and the rice polishing ratio is unified at 65%, as indicated in the brand name "Tanaka Rokuugo. In addition, rice from the same district as the brewery's location is used to express the characteristics of the land in which the sake is made, a passionate desire that is reflected in this sake.
It has a gentle aroma of freshly cooked rice, a ginjo aroma reminiscent of a rather subdued banana, and a crisp, dry style that reminds one of steel wire. The words on the label "Tanaka Rokuugo" are handwritten by the young head of the family, and the design is simple, yet beautiful with a high impact so that many people will remember it.
This bottle is used as an onboard sake for the "Nanatsuboshi in Kyushu," which is famous as the best cruise train in Japan.

Tanaka Rokugo Junmai Sake
The aroma is subdued.
It has a sweet aroma that passes through to the back of the mouth.
The taste is dry and firm.
The sharpness is moderate, and it leaves a lingering aftertaste rather than cutting through quickly.
It should be paired with strongly seasoned food.
Sweet and soft flavor at the beginning of the drink, with a clean finish!
It went very well with white fish sashimi and was delicious! My favorite sake 🥰.
A bottle of Sumino Sake Shop's August hanpukai 🍾.
I often see this in Kansai, but I've never had a chance to drink it properly ✨.
The sweetness comes and goes, like the taste of wasanbon, and then it quickly goes away.
It is a little dry, so I drank it with sashimi and it went down smoothly 💨.
I thought Itoshima was a fishing town, but now I know it is also a rice-producing town 🌾.
