At home. Hatsutanaka Rokuugo. A famous sake, but I didn't know much about it... Yamada-Nishiki, it's a tanaka in the middle of a rice field. I knew it for the first time. The aroma is fruity (Muscat type?). Good balance of sweetness, umami, acidity, and bitterness. It is a quintessential gem, suitable to be enjoyed in a relaxed and leisurely manner.

Junmai-shu, 65% polished rice, brewed by Mr. Tanaka in a sake brewery located in the rice paddies. Tanaka Rokuugo. I knew it was delicious from everyone's postings on Sake no Wa 😊. I thought it would be more of a gusto, but it was a delicious sake with a gentle rice flavor and a light texture♪ Kyushu has an image of shochu, but I was surprised at the high level of sake as well, including Tanaka Rokuugo, Koei Kiku, and Sundo 😆. I'm looking forward to trying some of the other sake I have in stock 😁.

Today, we have your first Shiraito Sake Brewery of Chikuzen and Itoshima! It has a slight lactic acid aroma. It's not water on the palate, but it's a little lactic acidic. . Is this really junmai sake? Mild rummy aroma (mixed with lactic acidity). Light on the palate, with little umami for a junmai sake. It has a sharp but mellow taste. It is the kind of sake that you can't stop guzzling. It does not give the impression of being dry, but it is good as a food sake. . All of the items are very restrained, so I would recommend this brand to those who are not good at sake. Later, I had it heated to human body temperature. The sweetness and umami of the rice increased. It was light on the palate, so I enjoyed it even though I am not a fan of heated sake! 7.0/10

Birthday eve😇 Today we opened a bottle of 65/13 by Tanaka Rokugo 😀. Actually, this sake is the one I was allowed to drink on my birthday last year😇 Starting with last year's birthday and ending with the day before this year's birthday 😀. I've had a lot of Tanaka Rokuugo over the past year at home and out for drinks, and this 65/13 is my favorite of all the Tanaka Rokuugo sakes 😇. Of course, it could be said that memories are part of the taste 🙆🙆 I'm glad that sake is gradually becoming part of my memories 😇. By the way, there is a brewery, Shiraito Shuzo, in Itoshima City, Fukuoka Prefecture, where the current morning drama is set, and they brew this sake using Yamadanishiki produced in Itoshima 😀. Whenever I watch the morning drama and see Yui riding her bicycle through the rice paddies, I am always impressed by the fact that the sake was brewed in such a beautiful place with Yamada Nishiki grown in such a beautiful place😇.

I had this at an izakaya on a trip to Fukuoka. One of the purposes of this trip was to eat live squid and mizutaki in Yobuko. I was very impressed with the clear live squid 🦑. It was 🤩. Tanaka Rokugo is often talked about at Sake-no-wa, but personally, I had the impression that it was not crispy and had no clear contours. Overall, the sweetness lingers in the mouth with a fluffy taste. The sweetness was still lingering in the mouth.
