At home. Hatsutanaka Rokuugo. A famous sake, but I didn't know much about it... Yamada-Nishiki, it's a tanaka in the middle of a rice field. I knew it for the first time. The aroma is fruity (Muscat type?). Good balance of sweetness, umami, acidity, and bitterness. It is a quintessential gem, suitable to be enjoyed in a relaxed and leisurely manner.

(人 -͈ᴗ-͈)🍶🍶🍶🍶 Today I had my first Tanaka Rokuugo 😀 The aroma is fresh and gentle, like grapes 😙 When you drink it, the subtle umami of rice and acidity are well balanced and it goes down a treat. It is a good sake for a meal 🤔This is a delicious sake 😄.

Junmai-shu, 65% polished rice, brewed by Mr. Tanaka in a sake brewery located in the rice paddies. Tanaka Rokuugo. I knew it was delicious from everyone's postings on Sake no Wa 😊. I thought it would be more of a gusto, but it was a delicious sake with a gentle rice flavor and a light texture♪ Kyushu has an image of shochu, but I was surprised at the high level of sake as well, including Tanaka Rokuugo, Koei Kiku, and Sundo 😆. I'm looking forward to trying some of the other sake I have in stock 😁.

Tanaka Rokuugo has been raw for a long time. I found it at a liquor store and bought it immediately without worrying! A beautiful light cloudy color that you can't see the other side of the glass. It has a sweet aroma like Yakult. Very refreshing on the palate. The balance of sweetness and sourness is wonderful! The aftertaste is fleeting, with a yogurtiness like distant thunder that quickly disappears. It is easy to drink like water. It goes well with simple tasting snacks rather than sweet and spicy snacks! Especially good with seafood. Pairing: Steamed oysters with sake, assorted sashimi, garland chrysanthemum salad with raw ham and salted kelp, seafood okonomiyaki, fried lotus root with green laver, sweet vinegared turnip

Yesterday, Tanaka Rokuo was born. We will be able to get the raw until the end of January, so there is at least one more chance to get it.

It's a fun time of year with new sake being released one after another! Tanaka Rokugo's draft is also a pleasure at this time of the year. It has a soft, mild and refreshing taste. It is a nice food sake that goes well with meals. I think it tastes better when mixed with ori. It tastes good enough, but I would like to have a gaseous taste that is typical of nama-zake. Sorry for my selfish request😅. Thanks again for the food this year 😊.

Yamadanishiki-like deliciousness, strong natural rice flavor that is not too clear, Nama-shu-like deliciousness, moderate sweetness that does not become too much, easy to drink and not tiring.

I had been curious about this sake for a while and the clerk recommended it to me, so I bought it. It has a mild aroma, no peculiarities, and is light, making it a sake for everyone. I would prefer a stronger and more peculiar taste.

Second glass of Tanaka Rokuugo🍶 at a motsu nabe restaurant in Tenjin. Tanaka Rokugo's draft sake was available at a sake procurement, so I was ready to drink it at the restaurant. The acidity complements the fresh flavor 😊. Like last time, I grabbed a repeat of the combination of Tanaka Rokuugo and motsu nabe, and the combination was still outstanding👍.
