Kangiku's Sake Mirai was not in stock and was instead accompanied by three Kangiku varieties. We were unsure about Koshi Apple and Niidashi Zenshu.
The store had 10 bottles in stock at the end of last year and 5 bottles on the day of the event. I asked the owner if he had any Tsukiyoshis in stock. He said yes, but they are not in stock. We have no choice but to cooperate with him to reduce the stock.
I wondered how it would be like to age Orikarami, but no, it is silky and delicious 😊.

We had a cup of Tsukiyoshi's, a brand name of Ueda Wakabayashi Brewery, which we were curious about.
Special Junmai made with Hitogokochi
The aroma is quite cheesey.
The clear acidity makes it easy to drink,
The aftertaste was very soft with bitterness and a grain-like umami.
It was very soft!
Overall, it was a beautiful sake that you could drink without feeling any resistance ✨.

It's been so hot these days that my body has been getting beat up...this is when I need to drink! Today, I'd like to introduce you to Tsukiyoshino's Moeki, which has been my recent favorite! I guess it stands like a summer sake. I'm happy to see that they have been releasing many different kinds lately 😊.
This time I'll have the Yamahai. The aroma is like apple and muscat. It is milder than the ones I have had so far, but there is a fruity aroma. The taste is less sweet and more umami. The acidity is like a white wine, which is nice. The aftertaste is moderate 😊It has a modern feel even though it is called Yamahai.
Today, there was an insta-live with Yoshino Tsuki, so we enjoyed the sake while listening to the live performance. It was great to hear about his passion for sake making. I hope that the town of Ueda will become better and better 😄Next time I want to visit the sake brewery!
Yamahai is a refreshing type of sake. I wonder if it is called "modern Yamahai. The sweetness is moderate, and the acidity takes the lead and lingers a bit.

This one was well chilled, so it was served without ice.
It is Junmai Daiginjo, and it is delicious, but 300ml is still not enough 😅.
I would like to go back to the brewery store to look for a different one 😉.

These two bottles were purchased at the kurahon kiosk last December. There is no limited edition at the kurahon kiosk, but this one is sold only here and at Bessho Onsen.
There was another kind, but we brought these two bottles with us for now.
It was a little dry and refreshing, almost like a red wine. The wine was not cooled down well, so I added a glass of ice. It's good. I think it would probably be good warmed up too 🍶.
It's very tasty!
I've never had Tsukiyoshino's Yamadanishiki before, but it's sweet and tasty and easy to drink!

Another unfiltered raw sake from Nagano Prefecture 😀.
This is also the first sake that I bought at Wakabayashi Brewery on my way back to Ueda City from the Kitamukai Kannon Temple, which I visited first thing in the morning when I went on a tour of Ueda breweries in March.
The aroma is as gorgeous as the name "Sakura" and the taste opens up in your mouth.
I failed in the timing of drinking this 🤣.
I should have brought it to a spring hanami 🌸😅.
It's really rare to find a sake that is so gorgeous and fruity, yet not clingy at all 🌸.
Unfortunately, it's hard to find around me, but it was a delicious sake that made me think I could visit Ueda again just to get it 😇.

By the way, in Nagano Prefecture, there are also some wonderful female toji, such as Tsuki Yoshino, Shinshu Kamerei and Kawanakajima Genmai, who are doing their best 😀.
