This is the second bottle of "Umakoi" from "Asakai" that I got unexpectedly. This one was opened as a heated sake recommended by the brewery.
When drunk warmed, the umami spreads more quickly than when drunk cold, and you are fully immersed in the depth of flavor. It can be served with oden, dote-ni, hot stew, or any other hot dish.
It is a truly delicious sake with the vigor of the horse framed by the autumn leaves on the label. Ma-i: ‼️
About 10 days ago, I bought this sake and a bottle of nigori sake at the sake counter because the brewer who was there tasting and selling the sake seemed to have some free time on his hands. When I opened the bottle, it had a fruity aroma with a hint of apple and a soft, slightly sweet taste.
I opened a bottle of "Umakoi", the first autumn-aged sake from "Asakai", which has been our family's New Year's sake.
It has a mellow taste with a strong, robust flavor. It seems like it would go perfectly with grilled, fatty, salt-crusted swordfish in the fall.
The alcohol content is a little high at 17%, but you can drink it without worrying about the alcohol content. Delicious. ‼️

I was convinced by the aroma.
It's been a long time since I've had such a strong sweet flavor.
It was too good 🍶Thank you very much for your kindness.

A dry sake with a nice sharpness.
However, it has a rich and oily texture.
I paired it with grilled eye sashimi, but the bitterness was neutralized and it was very tasty.
A good sake.
