Gifu Sake
W (W) Yamadanishiki 45 Junmai Unfiltered Nama-shu
Is this the first sake from Gifu? Sake from western Japan is not easily available in Ibaraki, so I try to buy it when I find it. I bought this sake at Hosono Shoten in Saitama.
When you open the package, there is a gorgeous fruit aroma, and when you put it in your mouth, the strong sweetness goes right through. The lack of bitterness and miscellaneous tastes may be due to the 45% rice polishing rate. The taste is more pronounced than sake made with Ogawa yeast from Ibaraki. The alcohol content of 17 degrees Celsius is very good. It is extremely tasty.

One of two bottles purchased for this weekend. This one is sweet, yesterday was dry. I thought I liked the sweet one better, but is it a little too fruity?
A bottle I kept!
I drank it during a relaxing overnight stay in the car in a nearby area.
As soon as you pour it into a glass, a delicious aroma comes up.
