To commemorate Fukushima Prefecture's return to first place in the 2024 National New Sake Competition with 16 gold medals, tied with Hyogo Prefecture, we opened a bottle of Niida Honke's "Odayaka Omachi Namagashi".
The fruity sweetness, moderate acidity, and slight effervescence combine to make a refreshing sake that will suit the coming summer.
After coming home after working in the heat during the day, drinking this sake will be even more enjoyable!
It tastes light, round and gentle. It's non-habit forming, perfect for a mealtime drink, and it even looks kind of good for you 😂.
It's so sweet that it has the same font as "Niidashi zenshuu" 🐸💧✨.
[Hamamatsu Drinking
[The second drink I chose at Hamamatsu Hamamatsu was a pint of this drink, which I had not drunk before and was attracted by the specs I was curious about.
Shuji: Junmai Ginjyo "light nigori" Nama
The aroma of rice with a soft acidity, the mouthfeel is clean, the taste is gentle, the acidity is soft, and the finish is gently sharp, with a sweetness similar to that of ramune.
[The gap between the rough words "nama yeast" and "light nigori", which I personally feel, and the calm and gentle taste is delicious 🥰.
The fourth one is "Sawayaka's hamburger steak", which I really wanted to try when I came to Shizuoka.
Hi Pon, good evening 🌛.
[I couldn't get a reservation so I got a numbered ticket and finally got in 45 minutes later than the expected time 😅.
But the taste was worth the wait 🥰.
Warmed to lukewarm, it has a strong impression of the soft acidity of nama-shu. It has the freshness of nama-shu, but as the name suggests, it is also mild.

Koriyama City, Fukushima Prefecture, 100% natural rice, light nigori (nigori)
It is exactly like light nigori, not too sweet, refreshing and moderately acidic. It was easy to drink and opened in an instant.
