Here is the home drinking portion that I forgot to bring up.
First of all, it was served chilled.
The first aroma is of malted rice with a hint of sweetness.
In the mouth, there is a moderate sweetness and the umami of rice.
It is like dry rice juice.
Next, we warmed it up with lenching.
The next one was lenching warming 🍶, which seemed a bit dry, so we cooled it down a bit and drank it at human body temperature, which gave it a very nice sweetness.
I think I prefer it warmed 🍶.
It was delicious ✨
At first glance, the texture is sweet and light on the tongue, but the feeling that spreads in the mouth is surprisingly spicy and thick. Perhaps because of this drop, I want a sweet snack, so I drink it while eating corn pottage-flavored rice crackers. Every time I bring the drink to my mouth, somehow my eyes hurt from the irritation in the air. LOL I wonder if this is the alcohol in the air soaking my eyes? Man, the alcohol stains my tired eyes after a long day at work. LOL!
I went to Shiga Prefecture to visit a sake brewery and bought this sake because it had a nice aroma. When you put it in your mouth, the delicious taste of rice spreads. It is full-bodied, but crisp and dry. It is delicious.
7/21 I went to the Uehara Sake Brewery's first drinking session again this year. 35 different kinds of sake were judged seriously. I know I have a silly tongue, but I hope it helps (lol). The 3rd and 4th pictures are from that time.
Soma no Tengu was purchased that day. It is a little light and firm among the Buroisen.
The light nigori draft is irresistible. I'm not sure if I've ever had it before 😋😋.
Hi NITO!
I see you went to your first drinking session! I saw it on the blog of a local liquor store, but I didn't know you went 😳.
It's nice to be able to drink draft and nigori at this time of the year ❣️
Good evening, NITO-san. I see you went to the first drinking party at Uehara Sake Brewery. I was camping on Takashima that day, so I thought it would be nice to go to the first drinking party while drinking a small bottle of Soma's Tengu. I wish I could have had some fresh sake. 😮💨
Bon, good evening♪♪
The first time I drank my first sake, I served it by looking at the color, smelling the aroma, and tasting it in my mouth, but it was delicious, so I drank a little bit of each of the 35 varieties. 😃😃.
It is a junmai ginjo, but it has a strong acidity with a taste of Furozumi. Even though it is made in a different way, it has a nice "sake yeast" style.
Today I am a tengu in Soma.
I went back to Shiga and camped at Makino Kogen.
So, it's sake from Takashima.
Actually, there is a rumor that I had prepared camp sake in advance, but I forgot it at home, so it turned out to be a small bottle of Soma no Tengu.
But it was thanks to the small bottle that I was able to take a nice picture ^ ^.
Aroma of sweet and savory rice.
Slightly milky mouthfeel.
The rich sweet flavor with a hint of milkyness flows through the mouth, and the acidity and bitterness in the second half give it a nice sharpness.
It has been a long time since I've tasted a Tengu, but it's still very drinkable and delicious.
When camping on Takashima Island, I have been saying for a while that I would buy some eel from the local market and have eel bowl! I had been saying this for a long time, and it finally came true.
It was a little early on the day of the Ox.
I'm going to roast it over a charcoal fire,
Outdoor eel bowl and tengu (a kind of fish) are the best!
Hi Hirupeko, ☀It's a beautiful day for camping 🏕The blue sky and idyllic scenery look great with the soma no tengu 😁The sierra cup eel bowl and the soma no tengu, which is very drinkable, are a perfect pairing 😋.
Good evening, Kuni. I was happy to be able to take good pictures with the plateau in the background. It was weird to wander around the campsite with a bottle of alcohol 😅.
Good evening, Nemuchi-san. It was really nice weather and we had a relaxing and enjoyable camping. You are right about the Tengu in Soma for the eel bowl👍.
Junmai Ginjo🍶Usu-Nigori Nama-Nagori-Nihon-Shu✨Mokuzan Tenbin Shibori⚖️Yamadanishiki🌾 from Takashima, Shiga Prefecture, Japan.
Softly sweet with a dry aftertaste. The focus is a little blurry but it's mild ☺️ and can be paired with a variety of foods. I had it with squid geso sashimi🦑😋.
