The other day, I received a bottle of Yamato Shizuku Junmai-shu from Akita Seishu in Daisen City, Akita Prefecture, at a tavern on a business trip.
As the label says, it has the flavor and aroma of a junmai sake, but is easy to drink and goes well with food.

This is my first Yamato Shizuku. It has a nice summery label.
It has a juicy, dark flavor and acidity, and is quite drinkable. I felt it was a sake that would not be defeated by strong dishes.
It doesn't have the refreshing feeling of a summer sake, but it is delicious in its own way 😄.
