Business trip to Kumamoto. ✈️
It's been a year since I've been here, but the downtown area is very crowded.
It's very bustling downtown. People are excited 😳😳

We went to a recommended yakitori restaurant and had some chewy Amakusa Daioh with a side of local sake.

The local spring limited sake is crisp 🤔.
We finished off at "Niboraya" 😆😆😆.

The label said that warming sake was recommended, so we warmed it up.
We had it warmed up to about lukewarm.
The alcohol made me swoon before I even sipped it (lol), but I was surprised when I took a sip!
The spiciness was enhanced and it was refreshing! Delicious!
I used to drink only cold sake,
I used to drink only cold sake, but I think I may have woken up to heated sake as well 😋.
While Zuitaka (also from Kumamoto Prefecture), which I drank the other day, was mellow and sweet, Reizan is light and refreshing, and I personally prefer hiya.
