Ihyakumangoku.
It is crisp and clean, but the pungent and umami richness comes through in the mid-palate.
It is pushed through to the back half of the mouth!
Smells like strong sake.
Ripe fruit in the bottle with a mellow taste of rice.
The alcohol is strong and powerful.
The flavor is full of richness and fullness.
It goes well with savory mixed nuts.
Taste 3.5/5
15°, 63%, refreshing (herbal? Alcohol?) The aroma is clean (herbal? alcoholic?), the flavor and richness are like junmai sake, and the second half of the bottle is slowly becoming slightly spicy.
Sake that was served to me with a few bottles left.
It is spicy at the moment you taste it, but sweetness comes later.
Mellow and strong rice flavor.
I like it a lot!
