On the way to the sake camp, we stopped by Kunimare Sake Brewery to buy a limited quantity of Junmai Namaho sake from the brewery. I am an amateur, but I could taste the lactic acid-like flavor characteristic of nama-moto, but it was easy to drink and tasted (supposedly) refreshing. It was a great day to drink sake with the sea of Hatsuyamabetsu Village and Rishiri Fuji in the distance.

I was thinking only about dinner while working alone in the hot and humid weather with temperatures exceeding 30 degrees Celsius, I thought, "I'll have cheap Chinese eel from the supermarket tonight!" As soon as I decided on the direction to take, I decided to match it with sake. I stocked the refrigerator at home with Ona, We ate the eel which we had stocked in the fridge at home and the eel which was discounted by two at the supermarket. As the label says, the Ona was served cold. It is very refreshing and easy to drink! I will be able to work hard tomorrow.

Continued from previous issue. My choice for the Mimuro cedar was Yamagata Masamune Inazo. When I was hesitating at the liquor store, I saw a POP of "Proprietress's Recommendation" and decided on it. POP" caught my eye and I decided on it. Inazou" is made from rice grown in-house based on the concept of "making delicious sake from the rice we grow ourselves. I was excited even before drinking it. We had it with sashimi, of course, but also with mackerel sushi and octopus with vinegared miso, This sake was also easy to drink and very tasty.

We had another luxurious sake home-drinking party at a friend's house. We both agreed that we wanted to drink sake as our main beverage, We went to a sake shop and chose one bottle each. My partner chose this bottle of Mimuro Sugi. I think the product description said, "The aroma is like a ripe melon, But I was so engrossed in drinking it while talking that I forgot about it. The sashimi was from a very good seafood restaurant called Uoichi Market. It went very well with the hokke sashimi.

I have been curious about this sake that appears in the manga "Mishinbo" for some time, so I went to Amazon and popped it in. In the manga, the sake was Junmai Ginjo, but I decided to go with Junmai Daiginjo. To be honest, I was a bit nervous about the sake appearing in the manga, but it exceeded my expectations, But it exceeded my imagination. It was refreshing and tasty, and I am glad I bought it. I had it again with sushi from the supermarket, herring sashimi, and squid sashimi.

As the description says, this is the 20th brewing. It is a special junmai sake, unfiltered and unpasteurized.
