I bought this at Mori Sake Brewery on my last trip to Hirado! The president of the company was in charge of the cash register that day😆. He politely introduced us and told us that it tastes best chilled in a wine glass! Think Finland, but Philando Low-alcohol sake brewed by the Hiran-no-mori Sake Brewery Drank at the inn we stayed at in Hirado A super sweet dessert sake with low acidity! Maybe the sweetest sake I've ever had. I googled to find out how much sake it has! It's -70 degrees ‼️😳 No wonder it's sweet! The ladies in my house were raving about it✨ It's 500ml so it was a quick drink 🤣.

Purchased online at Saito Sake Shop in Tochigi Prefecture. I have always wanted to drink Philando. I finally got it. It is a low-alcohol, sweet-and-sour, grape-juice-like junmai-shu made with rice from the Kasuga terraced rice fields in Hirado. It is light and 500ml was gone at once.

Today's drink of the day is to open this bottle 💁. It is FIRAND Yumemeishu from Nagasaki Prefecture. I drank it chilled and it was quite dry and very tasty as a food sake. It became milder after it became lukewarm after some time and was very tasty 😋.

Philando of Mori Sake Brewery, which brews Hiran. Winner of the Gold Medal in the Junmai Sake category at the London Sake Challenge 2019 🍶 It is the Pope's dedication sake. Low al 9%, sweet and sour 🥰. It's my favorite 🤤. You can guzzle it by itself. I drank it while playing LEGO with my daughter😊.

Fruity sweetness and acidity. Very easy to drink, with no bitterness or unpleasantness at all. The alcohol content is 9 degrees. Feels much lower. This is great. Even for those who don't like sake, this is good. 1320 including tax (500ml)

This is a very nice 'nama' sake. The natural bubbles are wonderful. It's quite sweet and creamy so it's best as a dessert sake. I really enjoyed it with chocolate mint. But I think any type of chocolate or dried fruit would match this sake well. Chocolate covered dried fruit would be nice too. I will get some the next time I have this sake.
