It's finally autumn 🍂 today.
I'm going to open a bottle in the garden 😌!
First sip of Philando by Mori Sake Brewery, which brews Hiran 😁.
When I opened the bottle, I could hardly smell the aroma...but...!
One sip and you'll realize that the sake is supposed to be sake🍶⁉️... thought process paused ⏸️
It's so good that it could be mistaken for a white wine ❗️.
The sweetness is so strong and the aftertaste is so smooth that it disappears quickly.
If you're careless, you'll finish it in a blink of an eye💦.
Great before or after dinner ✨
Stable 2nd day report: 🗒️
The aroma is starting to have a sake 🍶 feel to it: ❗️
The taste is more delicious with the sweetness of the first day added to the umami 😊.
The aftertaste is a little closer to wine ✨
Nice to meet you, Mr. Koiing Gull 😄Good evening. This is my first time to see Finland. I'm quite interested in it after reading your review 😆 I have a feeling it will be a hit for me as I like sweetness. I'd love to drink it sometime ❣️
Thank you for your comment, HinaHanaMama. 😆 This sake seems to go well with sweets 🍰 other than before or after a meal. I've had a lot of sake before I registered with Sake-no-wa, but this is the sweetest sake I've ever had and I think it has an excellent aftertaste👍.
Philando Mumeishu ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Polishing ratio 70%, ALC 10 degrees
100% Kasuga terraced rice
The typhoon No. 10 brought guerrilla downpours, strong winds, and a brief period of sunshine... It has been about a week since I refrained from going outside.
Finally, the typhoon's influence is gone, and I no longer have to worry about encountering rain when I go out at night, so I went out to meet the new arrival of sake at a familiar store.
Let's see how many first encounters we can make today!
The brewery was from Hiran.
It is quite sweet with a little sourness, so it is like a sweet and sour fruit wine.
It is like a sweet and sour fruit wine.

Different brands, but it's the same Mori Sake Brewery 👍.
I've been passing it up because I'm a local and always go back, but when I visited Kotobuki for a while, they had it on tap so I bought it ✨.
The sweetness of the rice is overwhelming and after drinking it, you can feel the sweet and sour 💨.
I guess it's similar to ice wine 💡.
It's good for people who like sweet and sour, but the capacity is small so it ran out quickly 💧.
Sake no Kotobuki
500 mL
I asked for something sweet for dessert...and this is the drink that came out. I had always seen it at Huis Ten Bosch, but this was my first time to drink it.
It was really sweet and perfect for dessert. I will buy some next time.
I thought it was like ice wine at first, but I guess that's an exaggeration. It is similar to a very sweet white wine.
It has an aroma of ripe fruits such as lychee and peach. The acidity is a bit distinctive, with the essence of fruit, grains (vinegar), and lactic acid all mixed together. The complexity of rice, which is typical of low-polished rice, is still there as an accent.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️+⭐️
Purchased at Huis Ten Bosch. It is a sake from Mori Sake Brewery, which brews my personal favorite, Hiran, and I was hoping to have a connection with them when I decided to go on a trip to Nagasaki, so I was very happy to be able to purchase it as a souvenir. You might want to be careful at the Huis Ten Bosch store, as there was quite a mix of different dates of manufacture.
I bought this one quite a while ago when someone at work recommended it to me.
This is not sake! LOL!
It is carbonated, sweet and easy to drink.
It has lychee, peach, and I don't know what it is, but it has a floral feeling. After a few hours, the floral feeling disappears. The girl I drank it with said, "It has a little bit of pineapple.
The second night was also ramen 🍜.
Shirakaba Sanso's miso is also delicious 😋.
Philando✨ found at a restaurant that Mr. Menshuoh had researched and found for us.
The owner was a total ****,
After listening to his explanation, I took this bottle that I was curious about and asked him, "Mr. XX, how much is this?" I was shocked at the price 😳.
We each drank one and left immediately 😫.
It's been a while since I've seen someone on their knees 🤣.
By the way, this Philando was a rare raw sake ✨.
While also juicy and sweet,
It tastes like an easy-drinking wine 😋.
Delicious but too expensive 🤣.
I bought this at Mori Sake Brewery on my last trip to Hirado!
The president of the company was in charge of the cash register that day😆.
He politely introduced us and told us that it tastes best chilled in a wine glass!
Sweet and sour from the aroma
Tastes like plum wine
Slightly sticky texture
A little sweet but not too sweet
Slightly rice bran-like, but you can sense the grains and nuts that only low-polished rice can provide
But still sweet 😃.
Sweet and delicious as a dessert wine
I had it with Nagasaki Fukusado sponge cake a few days ago
Champagne split today 🤣.
Half and half
Pour in a 1:1 ratio
Marriage of Philando and Champagne 😉.
Makes it less sweet.
Maybe just the right amount of sweet 🤔.
Good morning, superbebe 😃.
I never thought of Philando and sponge cake as a marriage.
Champagne with 🥂 sounds amazing too!
I'd probably drink it with soda at most 😅
Hi, Chichi!
Hahaha 😆😆
Champagne in my house is more than water 😆.
I always have a box of 12 bottles of champagne from Costco because it's cheap, tasty and doesn't need refrigeration!
Think Finland, but Philando
Low-alcohol sake brewed by the Hiran-no-mori Sake Brewery
Drank at the inn we stayed at in Hirado
A super sweet dessert sake with low acidity!
Maybe the sweetest sake I've ever had.
I googled to find out how much sake it has!
It's -70 degrees ‼️😳
No wonder it's sweet!
The ladies in my house were raving about it✨
It's 500ml so it was a quick drink 🤣.
Zeek Jikon-san, good morning!
I have had this sake before as a gift from my brother who went to Hirado.
It was so sweet that I thought it was a liqueur.
I couldn't think of a dish to match it with, so I went crazy by mixing it with carbonated water... 🤣.
Good morning, Pon 😃.
This one was so sweet that even I, who has a sweet tooth, thought it was too sweet 😆.
But it's delicious, so please give it a try ✨.
Good morning, Chichi Paisen 😃.
I knew Philando meant Hirado ✨I thought so from the sound of it 😆.
Hirado is a nice place, I wish I could go there again 😊.
Purchased online at Saito Sake Shop in Tochigi Prefecture.
I have always wanted to drink Philando. I finally got it.
It is a low-alcohol, sweet-and-sour, grape-juice-like junmai-shu made with rice from the Kasuga terraced rice fields in Hirado.
It is light and 500ml was gone at once.
