Tonight's house drink is by Mr. Sigata.
It's been a while since I've had Tochigi sake 🍶.
Thanks to Sake-no-Wawa, I knew about this brand, and thanks to them, I picked it up whenever I saw it 😙.

First hiyaoroshi for home drinking this year 🤔 too late💦.
It is mellow with a honey-like sweetness that is hard to believe it has a sake content of 0.
It's mellow and has a high strength, so it's very drinkable.
The acidity and bitterness that supports the rich sweetness.
This is delicious!
The entrée is grilled swordfish from Awaji, boiled tofu, and yuzukabura (a type of turnip) that I bought in Tokushima Prefecture.
The acidity of the yuzukabura goes well with the sake 😊.

Looking at the back, the type of rice used is awesome. It's kind of exciting 😆 I couldn't tell the difference at all😅.
It's sweet and easy to drink. I almost forgot that the alcohol content is 17 degrees. I was drinking it like water.

The alcohol content is high, but it was a delicious bottle that you could drink it down in gulps 😋.
On the second day, the acidity is slightly reduced and the taste is more rounded and deep, which is also good 🥰.

This is a very challenging sake made with seven different kinds of rice!
I think Yamamoto had a sake made with four different kinds of rice, but this one has surpassed that by a long shot.
The taste is quite robust.
The alcohol content is high, so it is quite drinkable.
It is mellow and powerful, but has a relatively light aftertaste.
Is this the power of the 7 kinds of mixed sake?
I think so, but I honestly don't know.

I went on a 3 day/2 night trip to Nasu starting Tuesday ❗️
Day 1 was beer 🍺 and food at a typical all-inclusive hotel 🍽️
On the second day, we went to a hot spring ryokan where sake is promoted: ♨️

Gyokkou, Ryujin. My wife had Shinsei No6, Shinshu Kamerei,
Kangiku Ken Aizan, Kame no Kai, Miyaganume.
The cost was 550-1000Yen for one glass.

新丸子屋
This is a hiyaoroshi standard sake, which is unique to the SAGATA series. It is said to have a juicy, rounded, calming flavor and acidity, with the juicy corners of the flavor typical of the SAKE SIGATA removed.
The sake rice is Yamadanishiki and Gohyakumangoku, the rice polishing ratio is 55%, and the yeast is undisclosed.
Served well chilled ✨.
The appearance raises my expectations every time I drink it, and it returns with more than I expected 😆.
First impression is a little sweetness. The overall flavor is balanced and you can taste the deliciousness of Yamada Nishiki rice, as well as the mild acidity and bitterness👍.
This is a sake that I would like to spend a long autumn evening with. Although the sake has an assertive flavor, it has characteristics that make it a good match for any dish 🤤.
We paired it with grated chicken skin and wasabi ✨I highly recommend this sake to anyone who loves the figure!
