The unique mellow aroma of rice? Aroma of mellow rice...Sweet and spicy with a strong sweetness. There is also a slight sourness? The bitterness in the aftertaste is not bothersome... It disappears quickly. Brewed with 50% Miyamanishiki and 50% Hitogochiki from Nagano Prefecture, it is truly a hybrid of the best of both worlds. I've had my eye on this sake for a while, so I'm very satisfied with this one. Nagano sake is high quality...I'm having a little bit of it with some pickled bonito as a snack...

Nemuchi said she didn't have a good image of Nishinomoto, but I pushed her 😁. Well, I don't usually drink Nishinomon myself 🙄🙄. It had the same label and yeast as the one I drank at home in the past, but it was upgraded from junmai ginjo to junmai daiginjo. Sweet and sour, juicy and delicious. Like Koshi, I don't like the aroma of sake made with malic acid-producing yeast, but I don't dislike the taste.

Today, we will drink sake from Nagano Prefecture. Nishinomon is the main brand of Yoshinoya in Nagano City. Purchased at a roadside station in Obuse during a Shinetsu roadside station tour. The aroma is a weak apple-type ginjo aroma. The mouthfeel is sweet with a mild acidity. The bitterness comes at the end, so the sweetness does not linger and is well balanced. We are grateful to have found a good sake.

Noge one person drink third drink Next up... Nishinomon Junmai Daiginjo Miyamanishiki Arabashiri I've been curious about this Nishinomon for a long time, and now I've found it! Unlike the previous two, it had a light sweetness and a new sake-like gasiness. It has a nice sharpness and was empty in no time 🤣. It went really well with steamed oysters! The fried oysters were huge and delicious 😋!

Sparkling nigori sake🍶 from Nishinomon. I tasted various kinds of sake and bought it because it was delicious. The top aroma is a sweet aroma of rice with a freshness. When you put it in your mouth, it is a soda of rice with a hint of sourness and juiciness. The sweetness of juicy milky rice with a hint of sourness. It was quite delicious 🍶✨️ The third and fourth pictures are of the old storehouse of Nishinomon, located a little to the left of the Zenkoji temple entrance. They let you sample a lot as you enter the back of the building, but they almost make you buy a lot of things. The production facilities of the old brewery were open for tours. Surprisingly, the modern facilities are still there, but the production is now being done at a factory located along the Saigawa River about 3 km south of the old warehouse.

Ichi-go ichi-e! Thanks all for the big catch of 秋刀, which have seemed to benefit us fellows in the UK as frozen ones are now on sales in Asian supermarkets. To celebrate this autumn delicacy, we have paired it with this Nagano’s Junmai Daiginjo. Not sure if it is a good match, but the sweetness of the sake and umami of the fish are nevertheless a superb combination!

Fruity, melon-like, rich sweetness, with a strong acidity. It is said to be freshly aged in ice temperature. It has a clean and crisp aftertaste. I will definitely buy it again next year!
