This morning, the action started at 7am!
Kaorin lined up at Okazaki Sake Brewery to get 🐢san's brewery limited edition sake that starts at 9am, and I went separately to pick up the sake shop limited edition 🐢san that I won in a drawing at Miyajima Sake Shop 😀.
After completing our mission in Ueda, we moved to Nagano to pay a visit to Zenkoji Temple 😀 Last year, I made a pilgrimage to 33 temples in the western part of Japan.

From there, we went to the last brewery for this tour 😀.
The 30th brewery on our walking tour of temples, shrines, and sake breweries.
I had the impression that Nishinomon had a delicious ogara-mi in January, but when I asked the store owner about it, he told me that that sake is only for special distributors and is not sold at the brewery's directly-managed stores 🤣.
I tasted all the sake on the line and was particularly impressed with this one, but gave it up when I saw the price 😅.
It's delicious😇
I decided to go for the nigori sparkling to take home 😀.

I was surprised to see that the price of Nishinomon's sake is quite different between the general sake for dealers and the limited edition sake sold directly from the brewery 🤣.

Calpis-like aroma. Fine bubbles. Delicious with a slight sourness. It is important to chill it well and not let it get lukewarm. I see what you mean, it's a beer.
Purchased at a sake brewery.
This sake brewery is located in the tourist area in front of Zenkoji Temple. The large site is open to the public for tours of the production process and displays of sake labels from around the country.
The sales floor is designed to let visitors taste and buy sake. The unit price is high. Due to the nature of the area and the time of year, it is impressive that there are many customers who are not sake enthusiasts but seem to be ordinary people.

We also stopped by last year after visiting Zenkoji temple on our Shinshu sake trip 🍶 for the first time in a long time 🤗It was expensive as you said 😅 so we didn't buy it there 😆.

The high unit price is a concern, but it is not a bad purchase if you are traveling by car since the parking lot nearest Zenkoji Temple is free.
Please come to Shinshu Sake Trip as often as you like. The Suwa drinking tour is now open.

This is the first time to try this brand.
We compared two kinds of sake.
Compared to Nishinomon, it is more classic.
The sweetness is quite moderate, like a traditional sake.
It is refreshing and easy to drink.
It is a light, easy-drinking sake 🍶.
Compared to the mellowness of the Nishinomon, I thought there would be a difference of opinion as to whether it was lacking or simple 🤔.
They also make miso here, and we were served miso soup at the end.
Delicious with a gentle seafood flavor 😊.
I recommend stopping by when you visit Zenkoji temple in Nagano👍.

Yoshinoya is located near Zenkoji Temple.
After a tour of the brewery (free of charge), we went for a tasting.
We were allowed to drink a little bit of Nishinomon and all its varieties.
The Nishinomon series
The taste is modern with a sweet taste.
It also has a delicious rice flavor.
The mouthfeel is straight, and it goes down your throat as if it were slipping down your throat.
The aroma is mellow.
Since we were allowed to drink from the end, we compared the Fukuro-tori and the regular one.
The Fukuro-tori is really smooth and fine 😳.
You can tell the difference when you drink them side by side. It was a good experience 😁.
