Slurp kaa - tongue tingling. Alcohol content 21 degrees! I bought it on the way home from overtime work. Kikusui Shuzo has been a customer of mine for the Kikusui Funaguchi Ichiban Shibori, which is available at convenience stores and supermarkets before I started using Sake No Wa. I remember that it was a pioneer of canned raw sake. Thanks to this technology, we now have more opportunities to offer unpasteurized sake to the world, and I think this is an immeasurable achievement in the sake world. I could go on and on, but according to the label, this sake is classified as a "liqueur". At any rate, I'll note in my memorandum that it was a sweet and dangerous drink.

Since brewer's alcohol and sugar/acidifier are added, it is not exactly sake, but rather a liqueur. It has 21% alcohol by volume, so it has a sweetness in the midst of a tangy taste. It does not become watery and soft with ice. It is inexpensive, so it is very cost-effective.

Purchased at Niigata Supermarket I wanted to drink it after a long time, so I bought it. Living in Niigata, seeing this sake is one of the things that makes me feel like it's the end of the year and the beginning of the New Year 🎤. I have often seen this sake in supermarkets since I was not a drinker, but when I started collecting sake, I was impressed by its low price. A little over 2,000 yen for a bottle is still cheap! I immediately opened the bottle 🍶 and it tastes great😊. It has a thick, smooth taste, a doburoku-like sweetness, and a strong alcohol content of 21%! But this is rather good and tasty 😋. Thank you very much for your kindness. Kikusui's sake is my personal origin 🎯. I will be a regular customer from now on!

A gift from my in-laws. It is sweet and rich, yet it is crisp and does not leave a lingering taste in the mouth, which is admirable. It is not spectacular, but it has a nice sharpness, so it goes well with Japanese food in winter, which has a strong flavor. We enjoyed it very much.

We get Gorohachi for the first time this season. The sweetness and the tenderness are the key to its deliciousness. I can gobble it down, so a cup of sake is just the thing! My grandfather's favorite sake. It was delicious!

Today we have Kikusui's Gorohachi. It is Kikusui's autumn/winter limited edition nigori sake. The type of sake is a liqueur, isn't it? Kikusui Funaguchi is also quite sweet and cold. I soaked the aluminum can in hot water and warmed it up to lukewarm. Gorohachi took a hot bath and opened the bottle when he was warmed up. It has a strong alcohol content and a gentle amazake-like aroma. The first sip had a rich, full-bodied amazake flavor. The strong alcohol hit you hard. It is a super adult's amazake. I can't get enough of this feeling ^ ^. Although the alcohol content is extremely high, the strong sweetness and flavor is so delicious that you can't help but enjoy it. It is dangerous to drink too much sake because it is only one cup. Like Umezu's colander, which I drank last time. I think it is fun to drink it with soda or other drinks by arrangement. As I write this, I am already very drunk. Oh, and if you read the package carefully, it says "on the rocks, well chilled" 😓.
