The desire to drink nigori sake continues.
Thickness is not so great, but the sweetness spreads. It is a little tangy. 21 degrees Celsius. ⚠️
Pork kimchi goes well with nigori sake! Right?
This is a cloudy sake from the Kikusui Shuzo brewery in Niigata's Shinobata City.
It is a liqueur.
It has a sweet taste, so it tastes gentle like amazake, but it is also 21%.
It is also 21%, but there is no trace of spiciness, so I would have drank it even if they said it was 6% 🤭.
We had a muddy sake competition at a friend's house, it was fun ✨.
My first Gorohachi. Good mouthfeel, sweet and tasty 😋.
The 21% alcohol content is definitely felt after swallowing! I think it might be better to drink a small amount in small sips.
I think it would be better to drink a small amount in small sips!
It is my favorite drink that I can buy at my local supermarket!
Today is the anniversary of my father's death, a full 10 years ago today.
This Gorohachi is not a rare sake, but one time my father got it from an acquaintance and we both have fond memories of getting into it a bit.
We used to buy it every winter back then.
It's still as sweet and delicious as ever!
But 21 degrees! Dangerous liquor (laughs)!
Or rather, a liqueur!
Anyway, I like it, so it's ok.
The label has changed...
Miuraumi, please excuse my comment.
The first photo, could it be your father's watch and the cup for him?
It has been 10 years since my father passed away this year.
I like the memory drink 😊.
Dedication 🍶.
Maru, nice to meet you!
Yes, it is! The watch in the picture is my father's favorite watch.
I drink good sake and let it soak into my body, which also has my father's blood running through it!
I hope you will too, Maru-san!
Kikusui Nigori Sake
Made with Niigata rice
High alcohol content: 21%.
The supernatant is thickened, but the alcohol content is also strong.
When mixed, it became even thicker and sweeter.
I can't do it straight. The sweetness is coming out of the graph 😂.
What's that? If it's a sweet liqueur, wouldn't it taste better with milk? Throw in some milk (sorry). Yum! I'll tell Kikusui right away! And when I looked at the website, it recommended drinking it with milk 😂and it also recommended drinking it with carbonated water, so I tried it with strong carbonation, and it was the best 🩷 sparkling nigori! God! It's too sweet to drink! I'm sorry I thought 🙇♀️ this is the kind of thing you can enjoy by splitting it!
It was sold exclusively at Ecute.
I heard that it is usually sold in Niigata.
It is very sweet for its alcohol content, and the price and taste are perfect for everyday drinking.
