Slurp kaa - tongue tingling. Alcohol content 21 degrees! I bought it on the way home from overtime work. Kikusui Shuzo has been a customer of mine for the Kikusui Funaguchi Ichiban Shibori, which is available at convenience stores and supermarkets before I started using Sake No Wa. I remember that it was a pioneer of canned raw sake. Thanks to this technology, we now have more opportunities to offer unpasteurized sake to the world, and I think this is an immeasurable achievement in the sake world. This is a cloudy sake from the Kikusui Shuzo brewery in Niigata's Shinobata City. It is a liqueur. It has a sweet taste, so it tastes gentle like amazake, but it is also 21%. It is also 21%, but there is no trace of spiciness, so I would have drank it even if they said it was 6% 🤭. We had a muddy sake competition at a friend's house, it was fun ✨.

My first Gorohachi. Good mouthfeel, sweet and tasty 😋. The 21% alcohol content is definitely felt after swallowing! I think it might be better to drink a small amount in small sips. I think it would be better to drink a small amount in small sips!

It is my favorite drink that I can buy at my local supermarket! Today is the anniversary of my father's death, a full 10 years ago today. This Gorohachi is not a rare sake, but one time my father got it from an acquaintance and we both have fond memories of getting into it a bit. We used to buy it every winter back then. It's still as sweet and delicious as ever! But 21 degrees! Dangerous liquor (laughs)! Or rather, a liqueur! Anyway, I like it, so it's ok. The label has changed...
