This is my last drink of September.
It's hard to post in real time 😹.
When I was in Wakayama, I tasted the nigori at the brewery and found the nigori I drank in the summer to be delicious, so I bought it.
The name "Chokyu" was given to this sake in order to make it better than "Chokyu". The brewery explained to me that the name "Chokyu" was the result of their pursuit of a quality and taste that would surpass "Chokyu"'s desire to be "a sake that will be loved for a long, long time.
When we opened the bottle and drank it without mixing in the oli, it tasted sweet and delicious with a hint of pineapple🍍.
When we mixed in the ori, it was a heavy cloudy sake with a slightly rough taste.
I wonder if it tasted like this when I drank it at the brewery 😮 but I don't dislike it.
On the second day, the sweetness increased and the creamy mouthfeel was delicious.
#Kyoto Shijo-Karasuma#
W Dai/Kishi/chou
I am always guided to a restaurant around Kyoto station
But...
But the area around Shijo-Karasuma is nice.
The sake here was even more aromatic, sticky, and delicious.
Hi Uchi~'s super~rippa-san 🐦.
There are more stores than around Kyoto station and the prices are better👍It's a bit of a hassle, but I recommend Shijo 😊.
Good evening, Pon.
Thank you for your comment. Yes, it was great and tasteful 👍 I have a chance to come here once or twice a month, so if you have any recommendations, please let me know.
Slightly muscat-like color, not clear and colorless
Sweet rice aroma
Melon juice-like, muscat-like sweetness and
Slightly sour
For some reason it was double-discounted, but it was sweet and quite tasty
First time drinking Hiyoroshi from Chokyu
delicious!
Roughness that volatilizes at the end.
The middle part of the bottle has a sense of umami.
Delicious 🤤.
It is quite tangy, and when you put it straight down your throat, it will hit you hard, and when you put air in your mouth, the flavor will expand.
I would like to try it with ice or carbonated water.
[Rice shochu? 😮]
I found a bottle that I haven't tasted yet and bought it 😁.
It has 19% alcohol by volume and +20 sake, which is a strong spec like rice shochu 😳.
When I drank it, there is almost no rice shochu feeling (of course), but the alcohol is indeed very strong.
I think it would be better to drink it with some small ice cubes floating on it to make the taste more rounded👍.
Chokyu is really quite different in character from bottle to bottle, so it's fun and good 😂.
Wakayama Prefecture
Junmai Ginjo
Polishing ratio 55
Alcohol 16%.
The color remains yellowish. There is almost no aroma.
It has a strong sense of alcohol, but the flavor of the rice is also strong.
The aftertaste is slightly bitter.
