The sweetness is not too strong, and the umami of the rice can be felt well, and the dryness of the alcohol in the latter half makes it easy to drink. It is better to drink with a meal than as a stand-alone sake. It goes well with various chicken dishes. The fourth one, Tengu Mai Umeshu (plum wine), was also delicious, with a moderate sweetness that went well with the meal.

Trouble at work. I couldn't catch the last train for the first time in a while. If I was going to take a cab, I went to a late-night diner to have a meal before going home. I had a motsu nabe set meal and a beer, followed by a glass of Takashimizu. This Takashimizu is not like Rokugo-yeast. It was refreshing, but had a rice-like flavor. Good night.

Yokosuka - Miura (1) Yesterday, I went out for a drink with my high school classmates! The second spin-off project of our usual Noge drinking party (the first one was "Which tastes better, fresh shirasu or kama-age shirasu? Enoshima Tour) This time, we are going to Yokosuka and Miura. Start with a boat ride on the military port tour in Yokosuka 🛳️ Then, we went to Dobutan Dori and had a Navy Burger 🍔! Quite hearty 😱! It's quite meaty! We moved on to Misaki Port and went to a tuna restaurant, Here, sake (Japanese sake) made an appearance! Takashimizu Tokubetsu Honjozo Nama-Shozo Clear and crisp! A little sourness! This is the kind of sake I like to drink with sashimi 🥰!

It arrived today. My favorite Takashimizu series. It is a summer limited edition, and the container and packaging are very cool and summery. I read that "chilled" was recommended, so I had it chilled to a crisp. It was supposed to be "medium-bodied," but I felt it had a sweet aftertaste. The aftertaste was refreshing and very easy to drink. Next time, I would like to try it with sashimi.

This sake has a unique acidity that leaves a strong taste in the mouth and is very drinkable. It is a tasty sake with the characteristics of sake. However, I don't think it is a sake to drink in the summer. I would like to enjoy it heated up in winter.
