I bought it at a local liquor store. It is another famous sake from Aomori. The name "Johari" means "stubborn" or "obstinate," so you can imagine that it is not a sweet-mattari sake. I had it hot. It is gentle and light on the palate, with a refreshing sharpness. It seems to go well with all kinds of food, but tonight I had a small amount with green pepper miso. Rather than amplifying the flavor of the miso, it seems to quickly rinse the palate. You can drink as much as you want because you don't get tired of drinking. I love Aomori.
The aroma is gorgeous, the richness is small, and it doesn't have the same hookiness as shochu...!
It will disappear in a second when combined with soy sauce-based richness or salted sea squirt with a strong umami taste!

It was light and not too spicy.
The alcohol content was not too strong, so I could easily drink it all the way through. It is easy to drink, but I would like to see more richness and depth. I thought it was just average. I would not buy it again.

I bought it at a convenience store in the train station on my way back from my parents' house! And I'm so happy because it was my favorite Aomori sake, "Joppari" ✨.
When you open the bottle, the aroma is similar to barley. After a while, a relaxing sweet aroma of rice rises to the surface!
The mouthfeel is smooth and silky, and a pungent, chili-like taste coats the tongue. On the other hand, the sweetness is a bit mellow. The flavor is peachy 🍑.
Maybe it's because it leaves an aftertaste like eating sashimi, but it makes me want to eat tuna 🤤.
