For a junmai sake, it has little miscellaneous taste and no sake odor. Plenty of umami. A good food sake that goes well with both delicate and strong flavored foods. 6.5/10
The rice used is 100% "Hana-Sayaka" grown in Aomori Prefecture.
The yeast used is "Hirosaki University Shirakami Yeast".
The strong honey-like sweetness slips into your mouth...!
It has a refreshing sweet and sour taste with just the right amount of acidity.
It is very gorgeous, just like an apple.
Delicious!

Deteriorated after too much time has passed since purchase
It has a sweetness reminiscent of a noble rot wine, but it is not cloying and is easy to drink. I was afraid that I would finish it too soon, so I kept it to a small amount.
I bought it at a local liquor store. It is another famous sake from Aomori. The name "Johari" means "stubborn" or "obstinate," so you can imagine that it is not a sweet-mattari sake. I had it hot. It is gentle and light on the palate, with a refreshing sharpness. It seems to go well with all kinds of food, but tonight I had a small amount with green pepper miso. Rather than amplifying the flavor of the miso, it seems to quickly rinse the palate. You can drink as much as you want because you don't get tired of drinking. I love Aomori.
