A blend of rough running and blaming. I know what it means, but I can't tell the difference in taste. The sharpness that comes afterwards lifts it up to my image of a summer sake. The crisp aftertaste makes it perfect for a mealtime drink. It is delicious.
Little aroma.
Smooth and easy to drink.
Fresh impression, with a lingering sweetness for 2-3 seconds.
No acidity, not fruity sweetness.
Seems to go well with sesame-based dishes.
Hot days are here...
Summer means summer sake. I went to the liquor store to buy the annual Polar Bear label, and to my surprise, they had a penguin version. It was one of the last two bottles.
I thought I was lucky and bought it immediately.
It was delicious!
