Very light - yellow 🟡. I could smell a little caramel when I opened it. It's like caramel with peaches ❓ Pungent taste on the finish 🌶️ like a taste I don't know, but it felt more complex as I drank it. Young fruit, melon🍈, lychee, strawberry🍓, white peach🍑, peanut🥜, caramel when swallowed. On this day, I had the bonito tataki🐟 with mayo & ichimi & dashi soy sauce🤤. This combination went well together 😋.

Drinks at a work-related drinking party. I don't have any notes, and the photos are a bit of a mess, but I'll post some for the record 🍶. It's a Takakashiki Junmai Junmai Nama-shu, unfiltered, Nakadori from Hosui Shuzo (Tokushima Prefecture) 🍶. After drinking Hachibei, I was in the mood for a more umami-driven sake, so I chose this sake as one of the more umami-driven sake in the store's fridge. The label was a little hard to read because there were only a few bottles left. The aroma is like a junmai sake, with a hint of sweetness and a rice cake-like aroma. The taste starts with a fresh and gentle sweetness, followed by the robust umami of the rice, and finishes with a soft acidity. You can feel a pillar of umami throughout, but it is not too overbearing. ☺️ I had the Firefly Squid Bean Curd for the first time at this restaurant 😳. The spicy flavor of the firefly squid was well balanced by the tenderness of the silken tofu, and it was very tasty! (I regret forgetting to take a picture 😌) The kakishiki was a perfect complement to the firefly squid hot bean paste, and it went together so well that I drank it all up in no time 😊🍶. I wanted to warm it up, but it was the last 1 gong so it didn't happen 😢. I definitely want to try heated sake next time I have the chance 🍶.

Tochigi Kenmin Kai 2024🌸⑨. The 9th cup is Kotori-san's gift to us: ❣️ It's a sake from Tokushima, Takakakigi 🍶. Kotori-san thought of our members and brought it for us. （She brought it for us 😊. Kotori-san was worried about the heavy 18.5 degree sake we brought. I wonder if I'll be okay 😰," said Kotori-san, looking worried. I toasted with nervousness 🥂. Well, well, well, well... It's been a little while since the beginning of the year, but we had a New Year's party at the Tochigi Prefectural Association 2024🤗⑨. We were conscious of the map painting, but we were also interested in the taste of more matured sake, so we brought it to the party: 💁🏻‍♀️ I was afraid to try it, but I wondered if it would be suitable for everyone's palate at 18.5 degrees. It has an aged aroma with a hint of sweet acidity. It has a soft mouthfeel, a moist and thick sweetness, and at the same time, a sense of umami and richness, with an accent of acidity behind the soft cocoa. It was so delicious that it made me want to ask for another glass 🤤.... It was so easy to drink that I was relieved to be able to drink it while talking about how much I enjoyed it 🤣. I'm glad we could make it to Tokushima while sharing it with the members of the Kenmin-kai. ✌🏻

Tochigi Kenmin-kai 2024 Spring 3) Kotori-san brought this bottle after seeing the sake history of Tochigi Kenmin-kai members and knowing that Tokushima Prefecture was not yet filled by any member 🤗. When he brought it in, he was worried about whether it would be okay because it was high in alcohol content and dry, but his fears were unfounded and it was a big hit with everyone 😚. It has a full-bodied flavor and a hint of sweetness that makes it hard to believe it's dry, yet it's very easy to drink 🤤It's a dangerous sake if you don't know it's 18 degrees ⚠️ I'm not sure if it's a good idea to have a drink that's not too dry, but it's a good idea to have a drink that's not too dry! I was excited for a moment that Tokyo and Tokushima were filled at once, but then I looked closer and saw that Miyazaki was still there 😅Good luck with one more 👋 We were also happy to get the second round of Tokushima sake, which wasn't filled 👍. By the way, we were joined by a new member of the Kenmin-kai, Mr. 😆Setsugetsuka Hoshi, who was caught by the J&N Sake no Wa spies 🤗. He is a father of two children and has a deep knowledge of wine! We hope you had a great time with a member you could easily get along with. ☺️ We were talking about Jay's birthday being April Fool's Day, and to our surprise, Snow Moon Flower Star was born on April 1 like Jay ‼️.
