Yesterday, we had our annual drinking party with members from different industries who have known each other for 20 years (alumni for 3 months only)!
The first party was at a pub in Azabu-juban, where we laughed a lot🤣, and those who could went to the second party at an izakaya (Japanese-style pub).
We decided to go with something we had never had before, so we went to Bunraku.
Surprisingly, we didn't drink any sake from Saitama.
But this is from the same brewery as Sairai.
It's a refreshing, rather dry sake.
It is a honjozo (honjozo is a sake made from pure sake), so is it a food sake?
Is it much different from the Sairai I drank before? (Vague memory).
But I'm grateful to be able to keep having a relationship with members of different companies and different ages (or, to put it more broadly, the same age group) in this way 😉.
Sweet aroma with a juicy feel.
Ripe banana and yogurt.
Contains and smooth texture.
Sweetness and acidity with a sense of purity that is more than expected.
Surprisingly crisp, spicy pungency and bitterness.
The sweet and refreshing aroma leaves the nose and the mouth.
The alcohol content is 13%, but it is moderately drinkable.
Delicious!
Taste 4/5 stars.
This is the third sake we visited before the typhoon hit.
This is "Bunraku Reborn Moon Sherbet".
We had Sairai the other day at home, so we selected this sake in connection with the Northwest Shuzo Brewery.
Mr. Kawada, the owner, told us "It will disappear when you drink it. when he was pouring it.
The appearance is silver crystal.
The aroma is gentle, fresh, and sweet.
When drinking, the first touch is soft and sweet.
A fluffy sweetness spreads, light acidity leaves, and a light malty nuance.
Then, it disappears.
There is almost no aftertaste and a slight astringency on the tongue.
It was definitely a vanishing type sake.
Low-alcoholic, easy-drinking, soft sake.
I went to the last sake of the day, imagining that the moon sherbet was like this with low gravity.
Hi Aladdin 🐦.
Your choice of word "disappear" is exquisite ✨I've never had a drink, but I know what you mean because it happens to me sometimes 😆.
I'm sure the conversation will be great because it's with you Aladdin 😊👍.
Hi Pon 😃.
I had an image of it zeroing in clearer and faster than "disappearing." 😄
I had almost a private drink with Mr. Kawada that day, so it was fun to learn a lot of things and talk about sake while tasting slowly ☺️
This is the last one!
I've had a lot of Bunraku, but this Reborn Junmai Ginjo Unfiltered Nama-shu Blue Mist is a first for me!
It's so delicious!
I was satisfied to have the best to finish off the night!
After this, we also had Genmai and Kurei!
Mr. YS, the famous HO, came to the restaurant a little while ago!
He was seated behind me at the counter.
It was a close encounter!
People in the industry sometimes come here, so it's a feast for the eyes!
I went back to Nakajima Koen because the hotel price is still skyrocketing!
I had a good night's sleep in a pleasant drunken state.

Thanks again Rigel ✨
It may be more lemony than the nama sake 🍋.
It's refreshing, but it's also sweet and tasty, so it's not "sour" 😋. but it also has a sweetness and flavor, so it's not "sour!
Bunraku is too delicious👍
