It has a pear-like aroma and is fruity, but it also has a calmness that makes it easy to drink in a balanced way.
I would like to repeat it at home because of its good cost performance.
I was shocked by Genzai's Special Junmai and tried the Tokkami 😃.
Right after opening the bottle, it was hard but gradually the flavor started to take over👍.
The sweet aroma and the robust flavor seemed to blossom in the mouth at the end...
I hope to see you again 😍.
Purchase Genzai by recommendation in the store.
Opened the bottle! Nice aroma!
Refreshing and fruity
Sip: Strong acidity, like melon
At first, it feels smooth.
As I continued drinking, the alcohol came down my throat.
Refreshing bitterness spreads
Delicious 😋
The Tokkami I had before was delicious, but the Tokubetsu Junmai may be even better!
Muscat and Japanese pear flavors to a slight gassy finish. There is a banana-like sweetness at the end, but the bitterness is also present and not sticky.
I didn't know Suehiro Shuzo brews such good sake...I wish I could go there too!
Hi oosuka 😃
Oooh! Special Junmai is better than Tokkami 😋 We were right to drink from Special Junmai: ‼️
Everyone has their own tastes though 😄I'm sure they are both delicious!
Thanks again, Jay & Nobby! Genzai, it's really nice, isn't it?
Personally, I prefer Kuraku Junmai to Junmai Ginjo, and maybe I shouldn't be fooled by the specs!
Genzai is a hot topic right now! When it's a sake from Fukushima, you can't afford not to drink it😄.
The aroma is like muscat or pear. When you drink it, it has sweetness and a slight carbonation. The umami spreads from there, and you can also taste a bit of sourness. The aftertaste is strong with acidity and umami, and has a nice sharpness. It is a very delicious sake. It has a sweet, umami, fruity taste, which is very popular now. It is sure to be popular. It goes well with Japanese food.
Jay & Nobby Good evening😄I tried the Genzai 😊It was delicious and no wonder it is so popular! Glad to show once again the high level of sake in Fukushima!

■The impression of Yusuke Tsuda, son of a sake brewer
A fusion of traditions from the Edo period and modern technology has produced a refreshing, easy-drinking sake🍶.
It is brewed with carefully selected rice and water and has a low cloying taste, making it a good choice for first-timers ✨.
It is a perfect match for all Japanese food, so add it to your dining table as a drink to add color to your table. 🍽️

Suehiro.
Gensai is quite my favorite this year.
I stopped by Izumiya in Koriyama on a trip to Fukushima and bought it.
First day, slightly gassy and fruity aroma. Pear. The sweetness and acidity are well-balanced and moderate. No bitterness, light and very tasty.
The next day, the aroma of muscat is strong and sweet.
Presented in April 2024.
Kaegura is designated as a national tangible cultural property and is popular as a tourist warehouse. We had a chance to visit it on our last trip.
It was named after Tanaka Harunaka, a famous retainer of the Aizu clan.
Genzai" as a preparation for the Wakamatsu trip!
This time it's the Tokujo version. I was so excited before I even opened it because the Tokujun was so good ✨.
When opened and poured, the aroma is gorgeous and fresh, with hints of melon, white peach, and cider.
The mouthfeel has a fine carbonation that gives it a shwashy feeling. Contrast between pure sweetness and refreshing acidity. The taste is elegant, like lychee, muscatel, melon, or wasanbon.
However, the beauty is that it doesn't linger, but rather finishes with a bit of austerity, while also bringing out the flavor of the rice. The richness of the flavor in a smart way makes you go "mmmm" 👍.
It has been a long time since I last visited Aizu in summer.
I hope to enjoy a relaxing trip to the place where I have a connection with. But my heart is in a festive mood!
Here is the fourth (and last) one!
It is Mr. Tokkuei, who has a one-rank higher appearance from the outside 🥹.
This is the one I brought😊.
I brought it because I predicted, without a doubt, that everyone had never had it before.
A nice sound when you open the bottle 🎉.
Well, I'll have some 🙇.
It's extraordinarily delicious 🥳.
It is deliciously sweet and has a modest but sure aroma, and it disappears in the mouth, surrounded by happy fruit.
Very tasty! Excellent balance 👏.
Personally, I think it's today's number one 🥇.
But all of them were really delicious💕
I ended up finishing 4 bottles 🤣.
Next up is Genzei✨.
This drink is becoming more and more popular these days😄.
I was curious 😆.
It's kind of fruity when you drink it ✨.
The sweetness is gentle, but the sourness and bitterness comes later, this is... a delicious sake 😆.
Hi Jay & Nobby 😆 Good evening 😆 This was my first time at Xuan Zhai and it lived up to its reputation ✨It was delicious - if you see it, please visit ☝️🎉!
I had a chance to try it once in June and enjoyed it so much that I brought it as a souvenir when I went back to my parents' house.
It has a sweet, fruity, fresh aroma with a hint of pear and a touch of gas. It was well received by my family. Thank you very much for the treat 😁.
This is Genzai, which has been the talk of the town lately.
Sake from Aizu is delicious after all.
It is said to be like Tobiroki, but it is delicious in its own way.
Fresh melon-like aroma🍈.
On the palate, the fresh mouthfeel is gassy, with soft flavor and grapefruit-like sweetness 😋✨.
The bitterness brings cleanness to it and brings it all together 🙌💐.
It's so delicious! And this sake is also from Fukushima 🍶 too awesome ❗️💦
Genzai Gensai Special Junmai
Rating 4.4
Alcohol 15%, Rice used: 100% Aizu-produced Yumenokou, Polishing ratio 55
All the rice used is locally grown in Aizu. The mellow aroma and clear, fresh sweetness spread refreshingly. The moderate fullness is pleasant and smoothly lingers on the palate.
Trendy drinks, Genzai ❗️
I've been trying to compare the steadfastness of the drink.
I wanted to drink a sake with a slightly different flavor
I opened a bottle of this one😊.
First up was a special junmai❗️
Modest fruity aroma❗️
It has a good amount of sweetness and umami flavor, but the aftertaste is refreshing👍.
The aftertaste is refreshing👍
More like Nagano than Fukushima sake 🤔.
It has a feeling of 🤔.
A certain Shinshu XX aroma understated atmosphere ❗️
Very well balanced
It's very tasty 😃.
It can be drunk on its own easily and is
It's also perfect as a food wine 👍
I can see why it's so popular ‼️
I'd like to try the special top later 😊.
Good morning, Chobin 😃.
It's good to refresh your taste buds by putting different ones in between the steadfast drinking! And 2 bottles of Genzai ‼️ special jun is delicious 🤗I'd like to try the special one 😋.
I recently found "Genzai" at my favorite bar, which I had been curious about, so I had a drink.
It starts off with a restrained sense of fruity flamboyance and freshness, with an unrecognizable acidity and bitterness, and finishes with an elegantly balanced, light finish. It is the type of wine that goes down your throat with a swoosh. There is no cloying taste at all, so it would go well with fried food in kaiseki cuisine or something like that. ❗️
If I were to drink it at home, I would pair it with lightly oil-fried simmered dishes when it gets a little cooler.
I agree with its popularity 😋.
