This series of sake is named after Lord Genzai Tanaka, who is said to have contributed deeply to the development of sake in Aizu during the Edo period.
The crisp mouthfeel is followed by a subtle fruity aroma. It goes well with refreshing dishes.
This sake is from a sake brewery in Aizuwakamatsu. I had it for the first time.
It has a tangy, sweet, fruity aroma like pears, alcohol and freshness. The taste is based on sweetness and acidity with a bit of bitterness and a touch of gas, it was a delicious sake👍.
I would like to try the Junmai Ginjo if I see it!
Thanks for the treat😄.
Good morning, Jay & Nobby! 😊I was also curious about this bottle whenever I saw your comments on Sake no Wa. I recommend it especially to those who like sweet and tasty 👍.
Recently, we have been seeing a lot of Genzai-san. It is a brand named after a retainer of the Aizu clan.
The aroma has a slight sourness and rummy flavor.
When you take a sip, it is quite a bit chili. The sweetness and richness of the rice gradually come to the side of the tongue...I wonder...if many sake have the image of the flavor spreading horizontally, this one seems to spread vertically. I can't explain it, but....
As it rolls around in the mouth, the temperature rises and a bit of bitterness comes out.
The temperature is 15 degrees Celsius, but it feels like 13 degrees Celsius to me.
It has a full-bodied flavor with a slight bitterness, and is light, clear, crisp, and delicious 🍶.
Mr. Kotaro.
Good morning!
Many sakes have a flavor that spreads horizontally, but this one has a flavor that spreads vertically! I know exactly what you mean! I think it's because my sense of taste is different from yours 🤣.
Good morning, Kotaro!
Your high resolution review is very hot 😊I've already had the Tokujun, so I'd like to try the Tokujo I got the other day as a reference 😌.
Hello Kotaro!
I've been curious about this bottle since I saw on social media that Mashidaya has started to carry it: ‼️ It looks delicious 😙I'd like to taste it vertically 😇.
Good morning, Manachie!
It's quite light and easy to drink 😋, even in this season, it's a delicious drink that will make you want to drink more 👍Please give it a try 🙌🎊
Good morning, Kozo! ☀️
Eh! Do you know this feeling‼️I'm glad you can relate😆I see🧐You're right, different drinks may have different ways of picking up what taste they have💪Thank you for the love!
Good morning, Mr. Freelancer First Generation Man ☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀.
I appreciate you saying so, even though it's my poor opinion 😁.
Oh! Did you get the extra top 👍 looking forward to your review 🥳.
Good morning, Jay & Nobby!
I don't know if you are really a vertical jeweler ⁉️ or if you are a horizontal jeweler ⁉️ 😆Please pick me up at Mashidaya and verify this for me 😉.
The last one is Genzai, Daiginjo. Nice to meet you.
I used to wonder why it was a daiginjo and not junmai. I used to think that aruze was inferior to junmai, but thanks to Isobojimaso and Kagaku Masamune, I have changed my mind.
It is also delicious.
The aroma is elegant (I don't mean weak) and the flavor is robust and complex, but nicely integrated. Can I buy this as a regular bottle?
The third buckwheat noodle drink was at Genzai ✨.
Pictured is vegetable tempura with manganji chili, corn tempura, and soba to finish 🤩.
This is also good as a food sake!
I can smell it but I can't tell 😔.
It has a mild mouthfeel, sweetness, umami and a crisp acidity, very well balanced and delicious ✨.
I enjoyed drinking soba to the fullest 🤩.
ichiro18, I'm with you 😃.
Genzai! This is one of the bottles I've been wondering about since the liquor store I often go to started carrying it 🤗.
Tempura and soba! Kooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good!
Genzai, which is also being talked about as the next "Tobiroki". From the moment it is opened, the sound of sake is alive, which sake lovers will understand. From the mouthfeel, a pleasant sweetness runs through the mouth at once.
It is indeed similar to the lineage of Tobiroki and Hirotogawa, but I imagine it to be a little sweeter than them. It is good enough now, but it is likely to be further refined in the future, and we can look forward to its future development.
I had some time before a drinking party with my college classmates, so I dropped by Hasegawa Sake Shop at Tokyo Station and found a bottle of Genzai that I wanted to try, so I bought it. I had been curious about it since it appeared briefly in "Zujyu Tabi". I picked up a bottle of Kaygetsu for the same reason, and it was delicious, and I am sure this one must be good, too.
Personally, I found it delicious with a fruity taste that reminded me of the excitement I felt when I drank 寫楽やabe. It's insanely delicious. I didn't expect it to be this good (sorry 😖). If I see a dashi raw as good as this in a fire-roasted version, I'll definitely buy it. If I see it, I mean, even if I have to track it down, I want to buy it.
Good evening, Mr. Freelancer Ichidai Otoko!
I've seen you around lately, Mr. Genzai! I've just bought this one the other day and am waiting for it, so I'm looking forward to reading your review 😆.
They also recently released a black label ✨I'm curious 😋🙌
Hello, Kotaro-san!
I've seen you often at Sake-no-wa, so I was partly hoping for this 😊I'm also looking forward to your post, Kotaroh-san!
The black one is a special top, it looks really good too and I want one 😋.
Hi Jay & Nobby!
Congratulations to Mashidaya for starting to carry it 😊I checked and found that there are only a few distributors, but that's how it should be with local sake...anyway, by all means, get it 🥳.
