I'm late getting this up 💦.
Still talking about this past Sunday night.
The Narumi I was drinking is still a little left in the evening... It's 14 degrees and I have to go 😤 with a sense of déjà vu like we talked about just recently 😅I broke the rule of no more than 4 gou in a day 🤭 and continued to have a bottle of this one: ❗️
Actually, this is the second bottle of Yamanashi sake we've had 😅I've been wanting to try it for a while! Mashidaya started to carry it and Nobby got it for us 🤗.
It's not 'tan', it's 'dan' and it's muddy 🤔This sake is not nigori 😄.
The label is cool and summery with silver lettering ♬ I'll make love to you
The aroma is mild and sweet 😌.
I love the aroma and the taste is mildly sweet 😌.
But as you drink it, it has a strong umami and a sharp aftertaste 😋.
During the party, I talked to my son on the speaker phone and asked him about his latest news and we talked about his new hobby 😄As a result, my son sent me something this week. I'll let you know what it is later 😉.
The conversation with my son kept the drinks flowing 😋.
But we're adults here 😌 and switched to tea 🍵 with a little 🤏 left over.
We were happy 🫠 and happy 🫠.
Hi Jay & Nobby ^_^
Looks like you had a great weekend party 😁.
First time drinking Dan👍.
I was able to drink Junmai Hi-ire and Nama-shu and it was delicious, so I want to drink this one too ✨.
I wonder if it's from your son 🤔.
I'm curious 🤔
Hi Jay & Nobby.
I've seen Tadashi-san at my local liquor store, but I hadn't drunk it yet, but when I saw your post, I thought it might suit my sweet-tasting taste! ✨
Your family is really close and always so nice 😊.
From your son - I'm curious 🎵
Hi Jay & Nobby 😃 Whoa! It's your first time here, isn't it? I also drank a summer Duan a few years ago 🍶I've been wanting to drink it again 🤤 from your son - looking forward to it 😊.
Good evening, Jay & Nobby 🌑.
I think I heard someone say that lies are told and rules are broken 🤣.
I didn't expect this to be your second bottle of Yamanashi sake 😳.
It looks delicious, both sweet and sharp 🙂 ❣️
Good evening, Jay & Nobby. Actually, the other day, I had a hard time deciding between this summer sake and the regular product of Duan's Yamada Nishiki, and I brought home the regular product, the summer sake looks delicious 😋Next time we will solve the mystery of your son's gift to you😊.
Hi Jay & Nobby 😃 Congratulations on your first drink 🎉 Mildly sweet and crisp, I can only imagine how delicious it is 😋 Looking forward to the times of gifts from your son 😊.
Hi Manta 😃
We had a great weekend party after a week 🤗I'm glad you had a chance to drink with Manta since we only had Nanaken in Yamanashi 😋 not much to talk about 😅.
Hi Maru 😃.
Wise words 😁 I'll try to 🤮break🤤 without throwing up 🤤 surprisingly Yamanashi and Kanagawa are the only ones 😅 I'm not aiming for but 6 more prefectures to go until the second round!
Four cups a day is half of what Nobby and I drink, right?
That means I'm still good! It's a tough bind on a day like that...
Good evening J & Nobby 👋
By the way, I'm interested in your son's present ......
Is it a sake barrel?
Hey there, Sakaeran 😃.
Yes, it's true! It's tough even though it's our own decision 😓 but Maru taught me that rules are there to be broken ❗️ and it makes me feel better 🤗If it was a keg of sake from my son 😆 that would be awesome 😁.
Jay & Nobby
Good evening...it's nice to have a family that gets along well even when your son grows up! I wish we could be like that too 😅I can't wait to see what your son sends you 🤩I'll try to buy some of the pear pudding next time I'm in the area!
Ripe melon-like aroma
Smooth to drink, with a gentle spread of acidity and umami.
The lingering bitterness is a little strong and crisp in the mouth.
The first time I drank it
Very well-balanced sake
Fukuhara-san. Nice to meet you, DAN.
I once went on a bus tour to visit Sasaichi-san's sake brewery. I didn't remember much about it on my last visit.
A little gassy and sweet cemedine like a summer sake.
The astringency and gasiness cut through the lingering taste.
We enjoyed it with grilled beef offcuts and vinegared octopus. Light and easy to drink sake.
Yamada Nishiki.
The freshness of the first half of the bottle is accompanied by a slightly acidic umami.
It is slightly sweet and spicy, with a slight extension of umami on the back palate.
Memorandum
Sake rice: Miyamanishiki, Kake rice: Gohyakumangoku
Polishing ratio 60
I ordered this sake because I really wanted to fill up on sake from Yamanashi Prefecture.
Surprisingly, it suits my taste. It is dry but a little bitter with a strong acidity. It's a bit bitter with a dry but acidic taste. It has a lingering aftertaste, but the flavor is still there. This is my personal impression because I am too drunk. As I drank it, I thought it was delicious, and I was convinced that this was a sake that goes well with food.
Is it fruity like melon?
It is not as sweet as the aroma, and the bitterness comes a little before, so for a moment it seems dry? But it is still sweet.
It is a solid drink.
