It was my first time to buy Zanzou Hourai's pink label, and I immediately bought it when the staff at the liquor store recommended it to me as a summer sake from Zanzou Hourai.
With an alcohol content of 12%, it can be enjoyed lightly with dinner on a summer day. It is a little sweet, but it has a gentle and clean aftertaste.
As expected, it goes well with the ponzu-flavored pork shabu-shabu. But what is surprising is that the sweetness increases when you drink it with kimchi-filled "spicy ramen (with more gochijang)" at the end of the meal. ❣️ Why does it go well with kimchi and gochijang? The sweetness resets your mouth and makes the spicy ramen tasty again 😆.
I don't know what it is, but ahhh it was delicious ‼️ Thanks for the food 😋!
We went to YOKOHAMA SAKE SQUARE 2024, the first event held at Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse!
The first drink was this refreshing one.
It has a fresh apple-like aroma 🍎.
The aroma spreads in the mouth, and the sweetness, umami, and acidity are strong!
The beautiful aftertaste makes for a very pleasant drinking experience ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡!
Zarusouhouhourai?
You can't read the kanji!
But I was curious about it, so I bought it.
When it comes to sake in Kanagawa, Isohajime is the name of the game, right?
But I bought it!
Taste: LaFrance, indeed!
Is it sweet?
It's not sweet, but it goes down your throat like a sip!
Fruity but a little spicy
Easy to drink with low alcohol content
Dangerous sake!
I'll get you, asshole!
At the Sake Festival at the Red Brick Warehouse
A sake brewery that was recommended to me at a sake bar in Okinawa was going to have a stall at the festival, so I was the first to try their sake.

From the label
This sake has a refreshing apple-like aroma.
In the mouth, the refreshing aroma is more full-bodied, and the sweetness, richness, and acidity come through strongly.
It has a full flavor and a sharpness with acidity, and the beautiful aftertaste makes it a very comfortable saké.
It can be enjoyed cold or warmed.
It goes down smoothly at first, but has a tangy aftertaste.
They use a high malic acid producing yeast.
The 🍎 on the label is cute 🤭.
It has a fruity and juicy taste as if it were biting into an apple, with a hint of umami and green plum. It has a strong acidity, but it was sweet and sour and easy to drink 😚.
