I was attracted by the sound of "Pichi Pichi" and this simple bottle, a draft sake from Dharma Masamune, which is famous for its old sake.
The color seems a little yellowish compared to sake often seen.
When I drank it, the sweetness was very rich! It is a strong flavor that spreads from the tip of the tongue, so even though it is a draft sake, you can savor it little by little rather than gulping it down.
(It is not carbonated, but it does not seem to be carbonated in any particular way.)
(It is not carbonated, but it is not carbonated in a special way.) Although it is not matured yet, I can feel the unique flavor of old sake.
It was a drink that made me realize how many different kinds of sake there really are, and it was delicious!
Shaoxing wine? I think it smells and tastes like Shaoxing wine 👅The color is also yellowish and special 👀If you like it, you might like it. I had a good experience ʬʬʬʬ
Finally, the last one. It is rare to find a blend for the year of the dragon. I wonder if I chose this blend because I am the year of the dragon. We are now closed.
I tried it because it was supposed to be fruity....
I thought it was not fruity at all....
Maybe I just didn't understand because I am a sake novice....
Seriously good, a complex blend of old liquors with a euphoric attack and lingering finish, rich and mellow with a hint of chocolate.
Best with shiguremeat, eel, etc.
Today, my wife and I went to a sake navigator's workshop 😀.
The instructor was a manzai (comic storyteller) Nihonshu-san 😀.
First of all, we had a 1 hour classroom lecture on making sake😅.
But as expected of two people whose job is to talk, the lecture was fun without boring 😀.
Then, we had a tasting study to compare 4 types of sake 🍶.
The Kaoroshu was Ottersai, the Soshu was Ichinokura, the Mature Sake was Daishichi, and the Mature Sake was Dharma Masamune 😀.
The Dharma Masamune in particular was the first sake I had ever had and I was amazed at the aroma and taste 😃.
After that, we had a get-together to learn about pairing Osaka's local food with various sakes 🤣.
The first thing that surprised me the most was how many local dishes there are in Osaka that go well with sake and how much local sake there is in Osaka😇.
It's not so surprising, but it's a little dark under the lamp, isn't it 😀.
Today, I was very happy to learn about Osaka's local dishes and sake as well as learn about Osaka's local cuisine 😀.
Unfortunately, I could only comment on how good all the sake tasted, and I saw little evidence of growth 🤣.
Good evening, Yasbaye 🦉.
Interesting course with tasting, pairing and a lot of fun 😳I've never consciously compared the 4 types 👍.
It's always good to taste all the drinks 😉.
Good evening, Yasube and Kaorin 😃.
I love that the sake navigator course includes tasting 😳I love that they teach practical pairings too: ☺️
Daruma Masamune, I love Samantha's insta-live every morning 🤤.
Good morning Yasbaye 😃
Is this a tasting and pairing workshop 😳⁉️ nice event 🤣will broaden your enjoyment of sake... 😊Athetes from Osaka are also good👍‼️
Hi Yasbay 😃.
Great 🍶study of sake 📖 enthusiasm 👍I can immediately put it into practice after the classroom lecture and even the reception 😍I will further expand my knowledge of local food and drinks 🤗.
Hi Pon-chan 😀
When I had the 4 typical types of sake lined up, even I, who am indeed a taste-o-phile, could tell the difference, but then I knew they were all delicious 🤣.
I guess it's still a work in progress😅.
Hi Aladdin 😀
It's funny that there are two mellow sakes no matter how much I drank and posted... fixed it right away 🤣.
It was my first experience with a Dharma Masamune classified as such a clear mellow sake, so I was quite shocked 😳.
Hi Rafa papa 😀
I joined this forum because I wanted to be a little bit closer to all of you who always make great posts, but I guess I can't make progress right away 😅.
But it was useful to know that Osaka has a lot of appetizers and local sake 😀.
Hi Jay & Nobby 😀
I'm not quite up to speed on my studies yet, but now that I know Osaka has a lot of local sake, I thought I'd emulate my love of Tochigi and start loving Osaka too 😀.
But Osaka is surrounded by Nada, Fushimi and Nara 🤣.
Good evening, Yasbaye 🌆.
You and your husband are both very eager to study 👍.
It looks like fun, but I don't know if I can really enjoy it as I don't like to study 😅... 😅
Good evening, Haruei Chichi 😀.
Haha 😀...it's okay 😀.
I'm just saying that it's really for us beginners to learn how to read labels and taste flavors, which Chichi-san has already done, so you just have to enjoy it😇!
Haters and. I am happy today with gratitude that I can't tell the difference between
tation of the meaning of alcohol.
How about it, it is delicious, but I imagine that this is what the original
It was a drink that makes me wonder what the original was like.
Old wine is delicious. But it is only a variable, if you think you can make it.
No, I'm an old man, so I should not bemoan my lack of vocabulary and say, "This is delicious," but rather, "It's delicious," and put an emoji on it and get excited.
Oh, thank you for the food today.
Ripe taste, quite plump and plump aftertaste. Best match with cheese salted fish. Salmon roe would also be a good match. Room temperature, lukewarm is recommended.
