Mizuto-Tetsugaku Sakura Uzumaki Junmai Daiginjo
A calm and quiet taste, with a hint of acidity. Slightly apple-like taste.
Alcohol content: 15%.
Sake meter rating: +3
Acidity: 1.5
Amino acidity: 0.9
Today's nigori sake is 3 dec. and it ran out very quickly.
I think it is an easy to drink nigorizake.
It is a normal tasty nigorizake with alkaloids and sugars 👍.
I think this might be my favorite Sakura Uzumaki sake🎶.
You can usually buy it at the supermarket and it's just right at 3 deci!
The sun went down and it got cooler, so I'm outside grilling dried puffer fish overnight to cool off for the evening! It was a little hot during the day.
This is a special pure sake that I bought when I went to Sakura Uzumaki.
I was told that there are no more plans to make nama-shu, so it is the last time I will drink it.
I think Sakikura's special pure sake was once fire-brewed, but I wonder if that will be lost too...
It has a dark, somewhat peculiar flavor. I wonder what flavor it has...some flavor is hidden in it!
Nuts? LOL!
It seems different... Because the rice and yeast are different from Jungin.
Tokusyu jun is shizuku Ehime ☝️
After drinking it, I thought! I think I would probably prefer the once-hiked version....
But I can't compare the two, and if "Sakikura" is going to be gone 💦, so be it.
BEAT, here too 😊 I still prefer the one that is not nuts 🤣 the Jungin raw is nuts, so I guess it is not popular and sold out 😅I wanted to try this one that has something hidden in it 😆.
bouken, Nemuchi-san,
There they are, nuts ❗laughs
It tasted like almond pocky❗laughs
Shizuku Ehime is like a mutation of Matsuyama Mitsui, I wonder if they are similar... I don't dislike the taste, but it's a combination of the two, very nutty ❗laughs
Ehime Prefecture. Matsuyama City. Sakura Uzumaki Brewery Co.
After the tasting event at Hankyu, I was informed by bouken-san that Sakura-Uzumaki might not be coming back, so I went to the Hanshin Department Store!
I preferred the hi-airi sake, but I thought it was the only time I could drink the draft, so I bought it.
Sakikura Junmai Ginjo Nama Shu
I had it cold.
The label is austere and has a nice green color with a cherry blossom snowstorm 🌸.
The top aroma is sweet, like caramel or nuts.
The same unique aroma spreads in the mouth,
It is mixed with juicy, full rice flavor and a hint of sweetness.
The taste is also very alkaline and a bit tangy.
As bouken mentioned, there is a nutty aroma that lingers after it leaves the nose.
Interesting and unique taste, but complex 🤔.
Ingredients: rice (domestic), rice malt (domestic)
Rice polishing ratio: 55
Alcohol content:16%.
Good evening, Nemuchi 😃.
I agree with you too much from the beginning where you said "I liked the fire-roasting" to the end 🤣I guess it's a good decision to buy it overall since there's a good chance I won't be able to drink it again, but it left me feeling a bit blurred in taste 😅.
Good morning Nemuchi 😃
You are all a great source of information that they may not come back or that this is the last year for the live ones 🤣I for one have never heard of Sakura Uzumaki before 😅.
bouken, good evening 🌛I'm glad we share the same impression 😁It's a unique drink with a little bit of a peculiar taste, so it's easy to leave a lasting impression 😊I'm sure we all have different tastes 🤣.
Rafa papa, good evening 🌛bouken went ahead and told me that you said you might not come again 😊I learned about the raw information through the exchange between BEAT and bouken, and the information about Sake no Wa is amazing❗
BEAT, good evening 🌛I wanted to try the special pure one if anything as it seemed to be a bit of a bad type 🤣I gave it to my father-in-law and he said it was almond 😁.
In the morning the rain stopped, so I went to Sakura Uzumaki Sake Brewery. I bought a bottle of nama-shu and this Sakura-kaze 3-decibel, and moved to a nearby island.
I drink while the sea breeze blows.
It is under the wisteria trellis with the wisteria flowers still in bloom.
It is a sweet sake, so it is a dessert after lunch.
It is sweet 😆💕 but for some reason the sourness bothers me! LOL.
It's a honey type sweetness, and when I paired it with cheese, the bitterness bothers me, and when I paired it with momiji manju, the sourness bothers me... 💦.
I don't care much about pairings, but when I was thinking about what I should pair this sake with, etc., the 3 deci were gone in no time lol.
Hi BEAT, ☀️
This is a quaint brewery! It's great to drink it outdoors when you buy it at the brewery👍
I see they sell momiji manjuu 😆 interesting to match 🤣👍
Good morning, BEAT. ☀️
Moving to a nearby island 🛳️ is awesome 〰︎❣️
And drinking in the sea breeze sounds so nice 😊♪ I live in a prefecture without a sea, so I long for something like that 🥹✨.
Pon-chan, outside is outside, but it's totally different from drinking in the garden 🎶The momiji manjuu is the one my dad bought at the local supermarket and gave to me when I told him I was going on a field trip lol. It was a nice field trip 🎵
bouken, it felt like a honey type sweetness, but the bitterness afterwards was astringent sourness that made my head bug out lol. As for the warehouse, I got off the station and walked about two kilometers along the rice field road! LOL!
Tsubu-chan, we thought it was an excursion, so we walked from the station to the warehouse, from the warehouse to the sea...we walked so much lol. The island is only 3 minutes away by ferry and there are deer! It was fun 😆.
I bought it when it was coming to Hanshin Department Store for tasting and selling.
As I wrote in an earlier post, they may not come back? I wonder if they opened the store as part of a business relationship or something.
This place is also in the same group as Kaganoi and Asakura.
I think the rice is Matsuyama Mitsui. It has a freshness that is typical of a sake made from unpasteurized rice. It has a strong umami of rice. It is a little spicy and alcoholic during a meal. I thought it was not well-balanced.
It is a little sweeter when drunk on its own.
It is sweeter at room temperature, but it has a nutty taste.
I think the fire-brewed one has more sweetness.
If I had a choice between raw and fire-brewed, I'd choose the raw 😅.
I know it's too late, but the flier at the Nishinomiya Hanshin department store said "Gohyakumangoku".
Good evening, Umaisan ☔.
I also found out about it from a department store install 😅 I guess technically you would describe it as plump 😅? Personally, I'm a bit of a nutty type 🙄.
bouken, I'm of the group that makes it raw too ✋.
If there is a special pure one, I'm of the group that makes it special pure 😆✋ lol.
I heard that they have been serving raw for several years in a row, but they won't be making raw anymore. I'm done drinking.
Sakura Uzumaki Tasting Part 2
Junmai Shizuku Ehime
Junmai Daiginjo Kareena Otome
Nigori Sake
Sakikura Junmai Ginjo Namaishu
Karen na Otome is a new product and seems to use Ehime's original flower yeast called Sakurahime yeast.
It is a refreshingly fruity and sweet sake.
The nigori sake was sweet, but I thought it was not the classic type that I like.
I bought a bottle of Sakikura Junmai Ginjyo Nama Sake.
Leaving the Hankyu Department Store, we went to the Hanshin Department Store.
This is the first time I see Sakura Uzumaki Sake Brewery.
I was allowed to sample all the varieties as they may not be coming back 😊.
First up.
Sakurakaze Junmai
Sakurakaze Junmai Daiginjo
Sakurakaze Daiginjo
Overall, it was a gorgeous and sweet sake.
The cherry blossom season, which I enjoyed for a long time, has come to an end, though,
I found this hanami corner at a local supermarket,
I was so excited to see carefully selected one-cup drinks from all over the country to make hanami more exciting.
Since the cherry blossoms are already over, I compared the different sakes at home!
This is a one-cup sake from the Sakura Uzumaki Sake Brewery in Ehime, Japan,
In 1951, when they changed the name of their brewery, they named it Sakura Uzumaki Sake Brewery based on the fact that their forest "Hachitakeyama" was famous for its cherry blossoms and the title of a newspaper novel that impressed them at the time. It is not "Uzumaki.
Pretty design with dancing pink cherry blossom petals.
The water from Mt. Takanawa is said to be super soft.
It is mild, refreshing, and light,
Light, refreshing, and light,
It is also delicious when heated,
A mealtime sake that complements meals.

★★★★☆☆☆
Tasted a sake from Hojo, Iyo.
It had a good balance of sweetness and acidity, and was pleasant to drink.
It was a truly delicious sake, better than I had imagined.
Posting this series for a while. How does water and philosophy change things? I'm afraid I can't tell the difference in taste. First of all, it has a mild, apple and pear-like aroma, and a dry, mellow taste that fully brings out the flavor of the rice.
What I received as a souvenir from Ehime
Ehime's sake gives the impression of being dry
(Just after opening the package)
Drink it cold
Colorless and transparent
Mild sweet aroma and pungent smell of alcohol
Unlike the dry sake I had imagined, the mouthfeel is mild.
You can taste the umami of rice, but the impression is a little pale.
Afterwards, a spicy dryness is gradually felt.
The aftertaste is short and clear.
A light sake for a meal
Today's trio is from a brewery in Hachitari, Nakayo Matsuyama City. When I hear the name of this brewery, I think of nigori sake. However, this time we will have a special junmai. From the moment I drank it, I felt that the flavor was not well balanced. I can feel a little bit of a cloying taste both in the mouth and down the throat. This sake is not a good match for me today, but I would like to try nigori sake next time.
Sakura Uzumaki Junmai Daiginjo with Ehime snacks 🍶✨The clear taste of the sake is so delicious, and the snacks are a lively welcome 😋The combination with fried Zengo Aji is also good, like a heroine and a hero standing side by side on stage! I love it!
I saw abibuta's post and went for a bike ride ❗ 2nd step ❗
I took my phone with me ❗
The place I arrived at with the navigation system was the liquor store I had just come from ❗ lol
BEAT, who calls himself "not a natural", showed his wonderful naturalness and safely got the sake we were looking for 👍.
I was able to unexpectedly put two bottles of Ehime sake in front of me ❗
Well, there was a lot of drama ❗laughs
It's delicious with a nice acidity!
Not quite a schwash, but refreshing, full of flavor, and easy to drink!
Delicious ❤❤❤❤
abibuta, they were replenished! We had a few bottles ✨
They were delicious!!! 😆💕
I'd love to do an Ehime offline party sometime! around ✨✨✨sake dokuraku ✨✨✨.
