I had ordered a bottle of sake, but it hadn't arrived, and the local liquor store was already closed.
I used to drink this sake many times on my way home from business trips, but this is the first time for me to record it.
I was very happy to find that I could not enjoy such a powerful and drinkable sake with low alcohol content.
It is a pure rice sake (?) with a high alcohol content even if it is more alky than the original. I would like to try a little more high alcohol content pure sake.
When I run out of sake at home and try to buy some at the supermarket, my first choice is still this one.
Sweet, tasty, bitter
Alcohol content 19 degrees
Rice polishing ratio 70%.
We will be back for more.
I went on a brewery tour of the Kikusui Sake Brewery.
The person in charge of explaining the brewery was a clerical staff member, but I was told that the person explaining the brewery rotates among employees. Kikusui Brewery allows new employees to experience all departments and to work based on their various experiences.
The tour of the brewery was also very interesting, as the staff explained the brewing process based on their own experiences. The Kikusui Institute of Japanese Sake Culture was also wonderful, and we saw many historical items. It is well worth a visit.
I bought a bottle of Kikusui Funaguchi Shiboritate Dry Nama Sake as a souvenir.
The aroma was to my liking, but the alcohol content was high at 21 degrees. I drink it with carbonated soda, but I am thinking of a better way to drink it.
Rating:A
Dark and sweet. It's always a reliable and stable tasty sake. Kikusui cans are the only sake I keep in stock at all times because they are easy to store.
I drank it at home after a hard day's work!
The recommended way to drink it was on the rocks, so I didn't mind the high alcohol content and it was easy to drink!
It is fresh, probably because it is in a can.
The alcohol content is high at 19 degrees, as is typical for a draft sake.
I first drank it as is, but it was too strong, so I had it on the rocks as recommended.
I quite like the taste.
Hot springs (health spa?) in the city After the bath, we went to a restaurant in the facility. Half of the purpose was to take a bath, and half was to have a drink afterwards. After a few beers, we moved on to sake. Today's entrée was edamame and yukke (yukke) with Misaki tuna. Kikusui dry sake always does a good job!
The aroma is subdued, with a refreshing first impression that is also sake-like, with a subtly sweet aftertaste. It is like a cider with 90% of the sweetness removed.
Daiginjo-style alcohol-free beverage.
The mouthfeel is slightly sweet and carbonated.
It has the sweetness of rice, but again, the spiciness is almost imperceptible.
It may be possible as a non-alcoholic beverage.
