Eiko-Fuji is definitely the way to go! Ginjyo-ko with a fresh fruitiness. I don't know what kind of fruit it is, how should I describe it, apple? Pineapple? It tastes tangy and fresh when you include it. A rich fruity taste fills the mouth, and a gentle sweetness envelops the tongue, then the light bitterness matches perfectly and disappears. Smooth sweet flavor, trendy taste - sweet but with a refreshing aftertaste. Speaking of the taste of spring, bamboo shoots are a must. Combined with bamboo shoots baked in butter soy sauce ~ looks like tofu, I'm not good at cutting bamboo shoots 😅 I forgot to add soy sauce, so I sprinkled some seasoning salt and pepper on it later. LOL! Watched Sicario 1 and 2 (Borderline) movie again last night over drinks. Still like it w, recommend it. If you are interested in the story of the drug cartels and Pablo Escobar.

Tonight's Gabo-Gabo~. Jun Dai Hashu Honor from Eiko Fuji. 1,950 yen (tax included) for a four-pack. It's amazing. A brand recommended by Mr. Kyukkatori. I drank too much Eiko recently, so I didn't care for it at first. When I read the review, I drooled and got it on my clothes😝 I decided to buy it right away~. The aroma is sweet like a pear, full on fruity like Glory Fuji. The aroma is fruity, but not too sweet. Sake level -5, but not too sweet, just right. The rich umami comes out with a sense of microbubbles. There is a slight bitterness at the end and a clean aftertaste, so you can drink it as much as you want 😄 It complements the food and is delicious even if you drink it alone. In other words, it is versatile. A perfect accompaniment to grilled meat. On a side note, I bought some Kagoshima kumquats yesterday! The back of the package says, "Grown carefully in a greenhouse. The soft peel, sweetness, and fragrance make it a special feature. Enjoy them raw. It says so on the back of the package. I was surprised that I could eat the fruit with the skin. The skin is sweet! The sugar content is high and it tastes sweet and sour when eaten with the flesh.

I wanted to have curry for dinner today, so I went to KALDI and bought soup curry. I didn't see any roo fan furikake, but they have quite a lot of curry varieties. The magazine finally arrived in my mailbox a few days ago. I look forward to the once-a-year sake special - this is the bible of sake! Today I opened a bottle of Black Phoenix🐤 that I bought last December. It's been almost two years - last time I drank it was in 2019. It has a gorgeous sweet aroma when poured into the glass - quite fruity on the palate, with a lustrous taste and crispness that is typical of Aizan. In one word: elegant. It has a rich sweetness and fruity acidity. After the mid-palate, there is a strong pungent and rough taste that lingers on the tongue. The sweet aroma lingers in the mouth afterwards, and the long-lasting aftertaste is good. It is a sake to be enjoyed on its own without a meal.

Aizu Nakasyo's Nama Junmai Harasake Hatsushibori. Drink and support Fukushima Prefecture's local sake. The red sticky rice on the paper is cute too - I read that ori (ori) may precipitate, but the color is almost transparent. The aroma is mild, a little lychee and grape-like for my taste. The sweetness is almost apple-like with little acidity, and there is a slight bitterness in the aftertaste, which I don't dislike. The bitterness becomes more pronounced at room temperature and is better served cold. But the presence of alcohol is very strong. My favorite fried chicken with sake 😋 with homemade mentaiko mayo sauce 😋.

Freshly brewed with Miyamanishiki from Nagano Prefecture. I'm not sure what to make of it, but I'm sure it'll be good. The color is milky white. The smell is mild, with a hint of flowers. The taste is fruity, but not too sweet. It has a nice umami taste with a slight sourness and bitterness in the aftertaste. You can feel the alcohol quite a bit, it's 17 degrees, so it's thick. It is easy to drink on the rocks with ice. I think it tastes better if you drink it this way. It has a refreshing, dry, gassy flavor that pairs well with 🍖 meat dishes and Chinese and other oily dishes 😋~.
