boukenNational Sake Fair 2025 Day 2 part76
Fukushima 1
Last stop at the Fukushima booth as time is running out!
Ootengu Sake Brewery in Motomiya City.
I think they had it in the Fukushima antenna store which is only open on weekdays 🤔.
I looked up the name of the brewery and it seems to be run by a female master brewer.
Polishing ratio 60%, Yume no Kou 14.5 degrees, 1430 yen
It is more refreshing and modern than I expected. It has a light taste due to the low alcohol content. mamama006The special honjozo I've been waiting for. It has a lightness!
Well, I think I heard that the label is made by a printing company in Ehime. mamama006Ginjo-style. After all, I love special junmai! 海の男Pouring it into a glass, the coloring is so-so. When drunk chilled, the sweet umami spreads out, gradually giving way to a tangy sourness. It has a sweet, mature taste. At room temperature, the sourness and astringency come out strongly and it feels a little dry. It is a bit peculiar. mamama006I drank it as soon as I got it and it tasted great.
I drank it right away and enjoyed it very much.
I enjoyed it very much. mamama006Utsukushimayume kobo!
Uchikubo!
They did it in Daitengu!
Gentle taste~!
I can enter the sake name, but the main text is not so good! mamama006Bottles squeezed in December 2021
in December 2021.
I found out that it tastes like sakekasu (sake lees) when it's left at room temperature! I must drink it soon.
Still no text input hoshiakiSpecial Junmai 🍶.
Impactful label 👺 quite yellow, mouthfeel, acidity and robustness, but it disappears quickly. It is dry. It's easy to drink with a hiraibai, as it reduces the tangy taste. Probably better heated. The next day or two after, I took it out of the fridge. Light flavor. Warmed to 50°C. Aroma of rice. Aroma of rice. Mellow ☺️. 60 degrees, strong alcohol aroma, spicy aftertaste. A little hard to drink 🤔.
