Autumn Dyed with Niigata Sake (7) This autumn, we are holding a campaign on our own initiative to dye ourselves in Niigata sake. This is the final installment. (7) Tsuru no Tomo Bessen This is the last one! This is the sake we got in Niigata. Actually, I promised to have a drink with Aladdin on the day I got it, and Aladdin gave me a present of Tsuru no Tomo as well. And it was the same one I bought at Niigata Kokome! We started our drinking session with two bottles of Tsuru no Tomo and a big smile on our faces. (For more details, please see Aladdin-san) I'm amazed at your insight, Aladdin-san 🙇. I think I'll bring one of them to the next offline meeting. 🤣 First at room temperature. Almost transparent color. Sweet banana, melon, and rice cake aroma with a green bamboo feel. The taste is light sweetness to creamy rich rice flavor that rides well on the tongue. It has a moderate bitterness and spiciness, and finishes with a lingering creamy umami. We prefer to warm it up to lukewarm. I like the fluffiness of the rice. Of course, it is also good at room temperature, It's a regular sake that can be drunk endlessly. And during the fair, I thought of all the things to go with Niigata sake, but I had to go with kaki-no-tane. It's a Niigata specialty that can be found anywhere in the country 😊.

Good evening, Hirupeco-san 😌. I brought this for Hirupeko-san because I was sure it was the only one for her, but I didn't expect it to be like this 😆. I was so sure that this was the only sake for Hirupeko, but I didn't expect it to turn out like this! She is a big fan of the local sake 🍶I'm sure you'll love it. ☺️

Purchased when Nemuchi and I stopped by Niigata after the Tenma Taisakekai. It is rare to find Omachi in Niigata. According to the store's pop-up, it has a Sake Degree of -11. The top aroma is a little pineapple. The sweet acidity and gassiness are impressive. Unique fruity flavor like plum. As it says on the back, there is a bit of astringency at the end. It made me want to drink more Chiyonomitsu. I think it is a unique Omachi sake and Niigata sake 🤔. On the third day, the freshly opened peculiarity is lessened, but the acidity seems to be more assertive. The more time goes by, the more Omachi it becomes.

Good evening, Nemuchi 😃. It was tasty but more assertive in its peculiarities than its omachi-like flavor 🤣I think this might be available at a liquor store in Nozaki 🤔.

The third glass was a brand I had never heard of before, Echigo Yukikoumbai. This was the first shibori-shibori of the same brand. It tasted like the light and dry Niigata sake that I imagined most, but with a strong sense of originality in the rice flavor. 🙆‍♂️ I have never been to Niigata, but I would love to go sightseeing in the city full of beautiful sake and food someday 😌.

The second glass was a nigori sake from Imadaiji. The sake is said to be inspired by the cloudy weather of Niigata in winter. It has a cool, refreshing feeling like ramune. It has a crisp aftertaste and is very easy to drink. If I had to choose my personal favorite among the three types of sake I drank today, I would choose this one or Echigo Dekyo!

At the Niigata Prefecture Antenna Shop in Umeda, we compared three different kinds of wine. We started with Echigo de Doro, which was our first drink. It is clear, soft, and very easy to drink with a little bit of rice flavor. 🙆‍♂️

🎊Kansai Sake no Wa 🎊GRA san Visits Osaka Off-line Meeting🎊 The 2nd drink at the after-party was Takarazan! I've been wanting to try this for a long time. It was a year old, but it was not old, but it was very dry and tasty with a strong umami flavor. At this point, Pon-chan suddenly ordered onigiri (rice balls). They were freshly made and looked so delicious 😋. They also have a set of miso soup and pickles. I thought to myself, "I can have breakfast now! I thought I could have breakfast already 😅 but the restaurant opens at 11:00. Time was running out, so we went to the first meeting place after this💨.

🎊Kansai Sake no Wa 🎊GRA san Visits Osaka Off-line Meeting🎊 The 0th party was going to be at Asano Sake Shop, but it was very crowded because of SENKYO Fair, so we went to Niigata for Kome. The 0th party was Pon-chan Rafa papa Nemuchi-san Mr. Gula myself The five of us It was more crowded than usual, but we could get in just in time 😅. I was worried because I was bound to drink Niigata sake, but I found Nechiozan which I hadn't tasted yet! I've never seen this before except at Bic Camera in Namba 🤣. There's a commercial sake store in Amagasaki that carries it, so there's a place near me where I can drink it, but... 🤔. Nemuchi told me where to find it 😊I'd love to try some raw sake! It's not spicy, but it's well balanced and has an honorable taste? I think it's a food sake type. Sorry for the rough impression 😅 The entrées are all Niigata specialties such as Tochio deep-fried tofu and kanzuri, which is very interesting!

It's a jacket purchase 😁. An alternative special junmai sake dedicated to all those who love cats, music and sake. It's a special alternative junmai sake dedicated to all those who love cats, music, and sake. The rice is Takananishiki. The taste is fresh and slightly effervescent, as if the sake has been carefully fired. It has sweetness, but the second half is astringent and spicy. It is like adding bitterness to melon or muscat. It seems to be released on Cat's Day every year, so I hope to get a bottle next year 😽. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to animal rescue 🐱.

It's Niigata sake again😅. It's been a long time since I've seen Imadaiji. I used to visit Asano Sake Shop, but I haven't seen them recently. It seems to be a brewery near Niigata station. It has a smooth mouthfeel and a gentle sweetness. Less fruity than expected. Good balance of sweet and spicy. It seems to go well with meals. Nutty and graininess. When drinking it again, there is a strong gap between the sweetness and the spiciness. The sweetness is firmly sweet, but the spiciness is also gutsy and pungent. Raising the temperature increases the sweetness. I went to buy Tsushimaya at a liquor store far away from my house at the end of the year, but I forgot there was a special distributor in Kawanishi 😅this one was closer to my house...

Niigata at Kome. I saw it for the first time. It has a nice aroma. The aroma is mellow, with a hint of sweetness and a spiciness at the end. I think it is basically dry, but I like it because it is sweet and tasty, and the acidity finishes it off. There used to be a local commercial for it in Niigata.

At Niigata wo Kome Comparison of 3 kinds of sake All of them are new to me 🐰🎶. Niigata is the image of dry junmai sake ✨ It is the holy land of Gohyakumangoku sake rice! The first one is a junmai sake with an alc of 18% and a milling ratio of 60%! It has a refreshing taste with a softness of rice in the mouth and is very drinkable! Simple is the best ✨, the royal road of sake!

After a long night of Go Around Osaka, I woke up late at a hotel in Shinsaibashi 🐰. I went to Niigata, which was recommended by Rafa and Umaïsan 🎶. And my first ✨Midorikawa✨! I've been wanting to try this sake since I saw it in a book💕. I didn't realize how popular it was for a plain Junmai sake. Uitatekou has a gentle rice aroma. The sweetness of the rice spreads gently and elegantly in the mouth 😍. It's not outstanding in any way, it's like a spring breeze caressing a meadow ✨. I think I could drink it endlessly if I made it a food sake 🙂. Midorikawa✨I'd love to try a variety 💕

Sake from Niigata and Nagaoka will follow. We will have it in a handy 300ml. I am sure I have had it before, but this time, the first sip was especially "spicy! This time, I thought it was especially spicy at first sip. I thought, "It's spicy! However, I can't rely on my taste buds, so just for reference... As I am sure is well known to everyone, there are 16 sake breweries in Nagaoka. Is it the benefit of the Shinano River, which is the largest river in Japan? I would like to visit them, but I cannot visit all of them in the short time I have for sightseeing... I don't remember what I bought at the Ponshu-kan in Nagaoka Station before, but I remember that I was wondering what to buy. Nagaoka was heavily damaged in the Boshin War (Hokuetsu War). Compared to the Aizu War, the Hokuetsu War seems to be less known. However, some of you may have seen the movie "Touge" (Mountain Pass), which is based on Tsugunosuke Kawai, who fought with a Gatling gun to protect Nagaoka, and was released this year. I will visit both places next time I visit Yoshinogawa, as there is a place about 10 minutes by car from the museum where Tsugunosuke Kawai made his decision to start the war. Spicy! But delicious. Shinano River, Tsugunosuke Kawai, and the Hokuetsu War The reasonably sized bottle was quickly emptied as we reminisced.

Sake that travels through the four seasons: Fireworks in Nagaoka Sake Brewer in Nagaoka, Niigata. I was attracted by the package design and bought it. The "Tabineko" by Toshinori Mori, who lives in Nagaoka series labeled sake. It is cute. Fireworks" are the most striking feature of this series. Nagaoka is famous for fireworks. Personally, I don't actively think about going to see fireworks, so I haven't gone to see the fireworks in Nagaoka either... The fireworks in Nagaoka are set off on the day after August 1, the day after the Nagaoka air raid, as a memorial to the victims of the war and to pray for postwar reconstruction. When I was in Nagaoka about 4 years ago. I realized once again that Nagaoka had suffered great damage from the Boshin War and the air raids of the Pacific War. The brewery with this cute label is located The brewery with the cute label is located a little south of Nagaoka and did not suffer from the war damage, but the brewery was destroyed by the Chuetsu Earthquake in 2004. Nagaoka has recovered despite the harsh conditions. Behind the cute label, you can feel both loneliness and strength. The sake is also full of flavor, and I took my time to enjoy it. Gulp!
