It is refreshing and slightly sweet. It was the kind of sake I would like to drink as a food sake. By the way, Kazuhiko Ota also praised it on a TV program.
Isoboast Bessen Honjozo
The gorgeous aroma for a honjozo turns crisp and dry, but gradually leaves a refreshing aftertaste.
We had it as a mid-meal drink with the bonito sashimi that is in season right now. Delicious 😋!
It has been a long time since I have posted here.
When I heard that it was called "Gojiriki Rice", I thought it would be a somewhat peculiar sake, but it had a rich and fruity flavor. I was told that it was dry, but it was within the sweetness range for me and I enjoyed it very much.
Polishing ratio 55
100% strong rice (from Tottori Prefecture)
Alcohol 15%.
It has a slight melon odor Sorghum and a very sweet taste that spreads in the mouth. I think the best way to drink it is to enjoy it alone like a brandy rather than before or during a meal. You will be surprised at how sweet it is⁉️.
We had a nama-gara sake brewed with Kameizumi Hachitanishiki yeast cel24. It has a sweet taste and a fruity aroma, which is unusual for a Shikoku sake (Tosa), and it was easy to drink.
On October 1st, the day the state of emergency was lifted, we quickly went to Izakaya Ginza 🚶.
Gorohachi. I bought it at a liquor store at half of the regular price because of a new product replacement. The production date was R20.10. I couldn't help but be smiling. It tastes like amazake, but the alcohol content comes afterwards alone in a different sense. It is a true liqueur. We drank it chilled.
This is the same brewery that brewed Kikutaka, which is no longer sold. I had it warmed up, and it's a delicious old sake with a crisp, full-bodied structure. The label is also reminiscent of Kikutaka.
I had this at a sake bar. When you put it in your mouth, you can feel the acidity and the sweetness remains in the aftertaste. It is like drinking a sparkling wine.
It is light but has an umami taste and is made with Yamada Nishiki.
We drank it at room temperature and warmed it up, and felt that it was a typical Yamahai sake.
