I sat at the end of the counter and turned around to see a cold storage room full of sake! The waitress explained to me what to order, and we started with a brand I don't usually drink! Myonohana Special Junmai Crisp and dry, with a nice crisp aftertaste 😋. It is from the same brewery as Rumiko's sake, which I have had before! The No. 9 yeast is also the same! We were full, so let's go get a little bit of something recommended by the waitress 🤏. Knowledge Rice used: Yamadanishiki from Tokushima Prefecture     Hachitan-Nishiki from Hiroshima Prefecture Polishing ratio 60 Alcohol 15%. Yeast No. 9

profile iconPurchased at the Nishinomiya Township brewery opening event. It's been decades since I've had kenrishi. When I was a student, I used to be so happy with kenrishi! I used to be overjoyed when I was a student. The brewer said that the filtration was used sparingly in order to preserve the umami flavor. The golden color of the sake is crisp and dry when cold When hot, it is full of umami. It is an excellent sake after all.
