I thought it would be sweet because of the rice polishing ratio, but it is refreshing and slightly dry. The aftertaste is mellow. It was one of the Daiginjo bottles in Amazon's Daiginjo assortment, but I think I like it the best. Serve with pickled plums.

What can I say, it wasn't even junmai sake, but it was delicious. I may have had a selfish prejudice against brewed alcohol. I had it at a Chinese restaurant in town. I like it better than the Daiginjo I've been posting lately. She is a cheap woman. But (I'm a strong drinker) I didn't get drunk, but I think I got a headache after a bit. Causationist unknown.

The aroma is light and refreshing. It seems to be a single layer, but it spreads quickly. The aftertaste is quite fruity. Good mouthfeel. Taste is firm. Particularly sweet aftertaste. I felt it was a little too sweet, but I got used to it as I drank it. Not much alcohol smell. Would like to try again with warmed sake.
