First try of Tatsumi's favorite Igarashi ✨.
The first sip is refreshing 🎐.
The umami and lingering aftertaste comes in a rush.
I must try other Igarashi 🤔.
I must try other Igarashi 🔥!
Sake from my hometown, Saitama Prefecture🍶It's been a long time since I've had an Igarashi... 65% polished rice, low alcohol content (13%) though it is a pure sake, and what kind of rice is used? Omachi? Yamadanishiki? The aroma is of sweet rice, and the mouthfeel is full of mellow rice flavor from the moderate bitterness of sweetness and bitterness (😋)! Perfect...I like it...I'm sipping it with whale meat sashimi as a snack...
Big brother's ministry!
What the heck is this sashimi?
I know ...... that the red-rimmed sashimi in the foreground is .......
But the other three are also whale ......?
Which parts?
(I wonder if the red meat in the back is whale liver?)
Not written but rice is sake Musashi and Sai no Shine.
Unlike other Igarashi's image, it is less gaseous. It has a citrusy sweet bitterness and lactic acidity.
It is also astringent and complex. There is also a rum-like taste.
Well, I can't put it into words well, but there are some nuances that I don't like. Like the top notes are also a little uncomfortable 🤔.
The more time goes by, the more disappointing the taste becomes...
Sour rumney?
A friend recommended it to me as a local sake, so I bought it for the first time 🍶 The liquor store asked me if it was okay that it was a strong sake. I opened the bottle with a little apprehension.
Unlike the image, it has a sweet aroma with a lactic acid aroma like yogurt.
It is true that it has a strong alcohol taste, but it is not too heavy and the aroma is not too harsh.
I had heard that it was a small sake brewery, so I thought it would be made in the traditional way, but it was a modern and particular sake, delicious enough 😄.
The aroma was strangely similar to that of the nearby Sairai, which was interesting to me, as I felt it must be a regional characteristic.
It has a solid sake flavor, a bit of lactic acidity and a fizzy feeling. The aftertaste is like a lingering aftertaste. I liked the taste of this sake. It was a little early summer Junmai.
Isego. It is nice to meet you.
I have had a bottle of Tenranzan before.
Igarashi seems to be a brand whose distributors are limited.
It has a melon-like aroma, a gasiness, and a little bit of cemedine.
It has a sweet to umami taste with a little astringency.
We enjoyed it with crab miso bagna cauda with bell peppers, eringi mushrooms, and potatoes. The sweetness lingers a little.
Igarashi's Honjozo sake. It has a clear and refreshing rice aroma mixed with a slightly sweet flavor. I imagined the taste would be refreshing and crisp, but was a bit surprised to find it sweet and sour with a good umami flavor. Even so, the refreshingness that is typical of honjozo can be felt in the aftertaste. It is a good and reasonably priced sake. If it were easier to obtain, I would be very grateful for it as an everyday sake...
