Today we will have another sake that we purchased on our trip to Fukui last week. This sake is sold exclusively at a commercial facility at Fukui Station called Kurufu Fukui.
The aroma is a gorgeous ginjo aroma. On the palate, it has a delicious and spicy flavor that disappears nicely. It is an unfiltered, unpasteurized sake with an alcohol content of 17, but the taste is cohesive and easy to drink, perhaps because of the Nakadori and To-bottori methods of production. I paired it with simmered sea bream, boiled garland chrysanthemum, and mackerel pickled heshiko that I bought as a souvenir, and it was delicious. I feel that it goes well as a food sake 🍶.
I was very happy to visit the dinosaur museum, which I had wanted to go to. The dinosaurs were moving, so it was very impressive 🦕.
Tastes and smells like melon! A beautiful aruzome that is perfect for junmai drinkers!
This brewery has won many gold medals at the National New Sake Competition, but it is not well known. According to the proprietress of the distributor, "They are clumsy people! They think that if they make something good, it will sell! I see. I see. I want to support them.
The specs are a little steep at 2,800 yen for No. 4, but the regular Dawn, which is not a tobin, costs 2,000 yen and is also delicious, so if you see it, be sure to try it!
Dark taste, not unlike the dark amber color. Taste of Shaoxing wine, richness and rice + lactic acidity. The steamed cloth bitterness that comes afterwards. Given the rice polishing ratio, it is a junmai ginjo, mellow and light at the same time. From the Fukui local sake comparison set.
It has a mild sweetness. The acidity was not persistent, and although the alcohol content was a little high at over 17%, it did not have a pungent taste. It has no peculiarities, so it is a sake to be drunk slowly.
