Got it on a petit trip to Shiga. I was attracted by the Sakura Crepus-like label at Hikone Sazanami Sake Shop, and the store owner recommended it. Well, what a surprise, the rice is Nihonbare, which once dominated Japan with the largest cultivated area for rice, and even now, is the main variety in Shiga Prefecture. The first aroma is melon! Nutty and sweet later, then astringent and bitter, but light and delicious. Sake, I like it.

Good evening, WOM 😃. A little trip to Shiga! Good job 😄It is true that the label looks nostalgic somehow 🤗. I like the sake. I'm sure you'll be able to find a good one.

Thank you, Jay & Nobby. There are many attractive breweries in Shiga. Both the breweries and the liquor stores in the places we travel to have their own flavor.

Good evening, WOM. New Hatsusakura! You have acquired a nice sake. I bought the same sake at the Spring Sake Brewery Festival and loved it so much that I drank it in small sips, too good to finish 😊.

This is the first cherry blossom first love that I received from an acquaintance and had for the first time. It has a sweet and sour taste, really like first love. As a strain, it tastes similar to Senkou and Izumibashi, but it is a little different from both of them. It was a fresh taste and I liked it. It was the first time I had heard of this brand, so I am very glad to know about it because I would not have picked up this sake by myself. It is not something I often see at liquor stores, but I would like to pick it up again if I find it. I realized once again that there are still many sake brands in the world that I don't know about, and that what I know is just the tip of the iceberg. Thank you very much for the sake.

Good evening, Ryohei. I envy you for getting a good sake, Hatsukoi from Hatsuzakura! The other day I went to a brewery opening in southern Shiga Prefecture, where Hatsuzakura is located, and Hatsukoi was the most popular sake at the Hatsuzakura booth. It's so sweet and sour and delicious 😋.

Thanks for your comment, Hirupeko! I guess it was very popular! It seems the sender was also at the event in Shiga, so maybe he saw the line at the same event and bought one! I was so happy to hear that!

Dinner after work and overtime. Today we went to SAKARAKU in Takadanobaba. It's spring and the cherry blossoms are in season, so the first sake is Hatsuzakura Sakura Label Special Junmai Namaishu. The taste is full and thick. I would rather drink it lukewarm or at room temperature.

This time it is Gintaro-kun from New Hatsusakura. This sake is from Tsuchiyama, Shiga Prefecture. I went to the brewery openings in Konan and Koka City, Shiga Prefecture, where many members of the Kansai Branch participated, and decided to bring this sake home with me. Crystal appearance. First at room temperature. It has a sweet, raisin-like aroma with a mild mouthfeel. It has a mild mouthfeel. When you take a sip, you will taste a sweet and sour taste like a persimmon with a soft sweetness from the savory rice flavor. The bitter and astringent taste is mixed in with the lingering rice flavor, which slowly fades away. When served hot, the aroma of freshly cooked rice and the clear sweet and sour taste are enhanced. It's just so good, just the way I like it! It was the right decision to bring it home. Spring Tokaido Sake Brewery Festival, This year, six breweries participated in the festival and shuttle bus service was available between the breweries. Hatsuzakura and other breweries also had stalls at the Kisogawa Station, which is the base of the festival, This is a great event where you can enjoy the atmosphere of each brewery across the city and taste sake from Konan. It was a great day to get excited and drink.

Shiga Prefecture brewery tour (5) Kisogawa venue: 2️⃣ Takeuchi Sake Brewery The label made by unique AI and the brand name is still the same. Gura-san reviewed it in detail. AI〜Ai〜 Special Junmai Unfiltered Nama Sake The taste was quite unique, chocolatey and nutty, I think. Yasui Sake Brewery I have been a fan of Yasui Sake Brewery since I drank a heated bottle of their Ikashihoto Taro. I don't know what it is, but it's still good. I don't know what it is, but it's still good when hi-ire. I don't know what it is, but it's still good when hi-ire is used. Hatsukoi He told others to talk about their first love, but he didn't tell his uncle 🤣 He said it was sweet and sour, but it didn't leave much of an impression in my opinion. [Hatsuzakura Special Junmai Tamakae. Full-bodied, rich and umami, but with a clean aftertaste, so it's easy to drink. Hatsuzakura Special Junmai Mizukagami It has a clean, dry taste, but it is not as mild and spicy as sake +14. Shiga Shuzo I drank Junmai nigori before, but it was not nearly as impressive. Ki Seimei Musume Junmai-shu Shiboritate I think it was a somewhat light, but firmly orthodox Junmai sake. Drunk and feeling the need to go to the restroom, I went to Kitajima Shuzo just in time.

Tokaido Sake Brewery Tour in Spring (8) We moved to the tasting and sales area in front of Kisegawa Station. Various breweries that do not hold "kurabiraki" were also there. We went to the booth of Yasui Sake Brewery. I had a good impression of Yasui Sake Brewery when I drank their sake at home once in the past, but I haven't had it since 😅... 😅. I drank Nama Hashimoto Taro Gin Fukiyo I was impressed by its acidity and thought it would be suitable for warming up. Hatsukoi I was told to drink this as a reminder of my first love, so I did while thinking back to my elementary school days... 😌 It was a good drink with a strong sweet taste 🥰. Special Junmai Tamakae I think the acidity was also impressive. I think this is also the type of sake recommended for warming up. I also had a bottle of Shiga Shuzo's Kisei Musume Shiboritate. It had the same unique woody flavor that I have had in the past. I passed by Shiga Shuzo on the way to the restaurant, but Kyuzo-san said he didn't know if they were open or not😅. According to internet information, there is a convenience store next to the brewery? According to online information, the adjacent convenience store or bento box shop? According to online information, the adjacent convenience store or bento shop is a direct sales place where you can buy various kinds of Kiseimusume. Seko Sake Brewery was sold out, so we couldn't try any 😥. I met Pon-chan at the Kisogawa venue 😊. I'm getting pretty drunk around here 🤪.

It's Hatsuzakura's Spring Sake🌸 It looks like an instagrammable bottle. It will be well received by inbound 🤔. The top aroma is slightly sweet and sour. When you put it in your mouth, it has a soft acidity and a refreshing sweetness. It is easy to drink. It seems a bit thin in general to those who are accustomed to drinking Namahashitaro, but it would be interesting if it were a bit more modern 🤔. This was delicious 🌸.

Sake Uragana Ninja - Osaka Version This is an event where you can drink with a heavy drinker, Kaori Kanishi, and a singer-songwriter, Rio, who is a singer-songwriter. And it's only 2000 yen for one drink, what a luxury! And unlike live houses, you can drink the precious sake of Shiga Prefecture. On the stage, there was a retro bottle of Kitajima for Mr. Kosai and one for me that I hadn't had yet! Kaori Kosai said that she likes to drink strong and strong sake, so I thought I had to take a lesson from her! This one has a slightly yellow hue. It has a rich, mellow, ripe taste, but is relatively mild, and when heated, it has a gentle sweetness. The aroma is just a hint of sweetness before and after the taste. It has a beautiful balance that conveys all the information about the sake without being overshadowed by any prominent elements. Even if you're drunk and your head is in a daze because of all the noise, you'll be able to recreate the taste in your brain!

Sake Backed Sword Ninja - Osaka, Japan Aged in 2017. It is a very mildly aged type of sake with a well-balanced taste of five flavors. It is even milder and warmer when heated! Koka, Shiga Prefecture. Yasui Sake Brewery. New Hatsusakura, Junmai Tamakae Hi-iri Hiyoroshi. This is a sake brewed by the sixth generation of Taro, who trained at Akiga and Tensei. We couldn't find the unforgettable Namahashitaro at the Shiga Jizake Festival in Otsu 2023, but discovered Hiyadoroshi. I bought it as well as the difference between Ginbukiyo and Tamakoei. The unforgettable Namahashidorotaro was good warmed, but this time I tried both. I will drink it cold. It is hi-iru, but there is a short gas sound when the bottle is opened. The color is clear and slightly yellow. The top aroma is slightly caramel-like and mature, followed by a strong sweet aroma and alkali aroma. On the palate, a mild acidity spreads to the mouth, followed by a mild nutty flavor. The nuttiness is strong. Serve warmed. At about 45°C, the acidity is assertive and makes the tongue tingle, and the caramel-like flavor is spicy as well. As the temperature cools down, the tingling goes away and the spiciness mellows out to a slightly caramelized, slightly bitter chocolate flavor. It is still delicious warmed up. Ingredients: rice (domestic), rice malt (domestic) Rice polishing ratio: 70%. Alcohol content: 16%.

This will be a new sake from Shiga's Hatsuzakura🍶. This is the first Junmai sake from Hatsuzakura. The aroma is sweet and sour with a moderate nose. In the mouth, it has a sweet and sour aroma and a sweet and umami taste of rice with the acidity of a junmai sake like Hatsuzakura, which is a pure sake with a traditional sake yeast yeast yeast. In general, it is a bit like a lighter version of Hatsuzakura, a sake made from the same yeast as the original. It was easy to drink and delicious.
