Got it on a petit trip to Shiga. I was attracted by the Sakura Crepus-like label at Hikone Sazanami Sake Shop, and the store owner recommended it.
Well, what a surprise, the rice is Nihonbare, which once dominated Japan with the largest cultivated area for rice, and even now, is the main variety in Shiga Prefecture.
The first aroma is melon! Nutty and sweet later, then astringent and bitter, but light and delicious. Sake, I like it.

Thank you, Jay & Nobby. There are many attractive breweries in Shiga. Both the breweries and the liquor stores in the places we travel to have their own flavor.

Good evening, WOM. New Hatsusakura! You have acquired a nice sake. I bought the same sake at the Spring Sake Brewery Festival and loved it so much that I drank it in small sips, too good to finish 😊.

Hirupeko. Thank you very much. I am experiencing the depth of the world of sake at all. I'm chibi-chibi too. It's always chibi chibi, but it's lovely.
