I went to a health checkup today, and went to a nearby liquor store that sells good sake, and found this Arabashiri.
I opened the bottle right away.
The first sip was fruity and sweet with a touch of acidity, but the second sip was bitter with a touch of acidity.
I'm not sure what to make of it, but I like the taste ☺️.

Purchased out of curiosity.
Polished 70%, alc 17 degrees. The color is clear with a slight yellow tinge.
The rice is only labeled as being from Yamaguchi Prefecture, but there is no brand name.
It is basically sweet with a tangy kick at the end.
Not enough to repeat, but there are green and pink varieties, so I will try them when I see them.

As work settled down, I went on a sake trip to Yamaguchi Prefecture 😁.
First among the various purchases, I checked in with a Junmai Namaishu from Gobashi.
The drink seems smooth and easy to drink when chilled, but it has a lot of flavor. The sweetness makes it easy to drink and the acidity makes it refreshing.
It is only available in four-pack bottles during this season 😊.

Good morning, Jay & Nobby. In my case, most of my trips start from sake breweries 😁Yamaguchi is scattered and hard to get around, but fortunately Gobashi and Ganki are close by 👍but only open on weekdays💦.

It would be nice if there was a concentration of sake breweries like in Nada and Fushimi, but in Yamaguchi prefecture they are scattered all over the place, so the only place I can visit at once is Iwakuni 🤣.
The rest is probably around Hagi 😀.
I would love to visit some of the breweries in my hometown in Yamaguchi prefecture someday 😇.
