I went to a health checkup today, and went to a nearby liquor store that sells good sake, and found this Arabashiri. I opened the bottle right away. The first sip was fruity and sweet with a touch of acidity, but the second sip was bitter with a touch of acidity. I'm not sure what to make of it, but I like the taste ☺️. Delicious💕!

I went to a liquor store in the next city for the first time in a long time, and I thought I'd buy Kameizumi, but I saw this Gohashi next to it, and it was cheap, so I bought it. It's delicious!

A little drink (tasting) from jogging on Monday's regular holiday I stopped by Fukuhara Brewery for the first time, which I had been curious about for a while. I was so excited to see so many sake on the shelves (lol). I chose Gobashi Junmai Araubashiri for the tasting. Fruity aroma with a banana-like flavor. The mouthfeel is clear and slightly tangy. The inside is softly rice flavor. The sweet bitterness lingers in the back of the throat. The lingering aftertaste is very satisfying, so it goes well with a variety of meals.

Purchased at a Japanese sake festival. It has been a long time since I have tasted Gobashi. The aroma spreads in the mouth and the taste is refreshing. It has a sharp taste and is still delicious.

Gohashi Junmai Sake Sake from Iwakuni City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. Gohashi" may be a reference to Kintai-bashi Bridge. The flavor has a strong presence. It does not lose to strong-flavored dishes such as buri daikon.

Today, after buying new sake from my favorite brewer at the sake shop, I went to the Railway Expo at the Expo Park with Karin for a walking tour. I don't particularly like trains, but when I went to Iwakuni this summer, I took the Iwakuni Seiryu Line from Iwakuni to Nishikicho to buy Kinjaku, and I heard that Iwakuni sake would also be on display 😀. Unfortunately, I did not win the lottery for the right to buy a bottle of Kinjaku 🤣. We had lunch at the Expo Park with ekiben from the venue and horumon udon from the kitchen car, and the sake to go with it was Five White by Gobashi in Iwakuni... a sake we had bought from a brewery in Iwakuni and brought back with us😇. The other Fives have always been made to the same specs, but the White is the only one that can be changed to any color, so it seems to be made to different specs every year, and the specs are undisclosed 🤣. According to the information I received from Mr. Nakama, the Toji of Gobashi, it is an assemblage of Nishitoshizuku and Yamadanishiki and is Junmai Ginjo. The aroma is a fruity mix of banana and citrus, and the taste is sweet and fruity with a citrusy acidity that accentuates the sharpness of the sake.

Good evening, Mr. Yasube! Good for you for walking and drinking at the Expo 🎵. I didn't ride the Iwakuni Seiryu Line, so I'm sure it was a scenic train ride 😍. Five white is such a good drink 😲.

Today, I bought Gobashi before a friend gave it to me. I was surprised, I didn't expect to be covered by this brand! Fate? How could it be? But I know that it is a brewery that brews delicious sake.
