This is the second souvenir from Akita. When I told her that I like Junmai, she recommended this one. Although it is junmai, it is "aromatic" and "dry" as the name suggests. It is a sake that "the name says it all". It is a perfect match for the "Salmon Kimchi (dry)" that my son in Sapporo bought for me 😊👍.

I found Ito-Yokado on my way to work!
They were having a "Thank You Closing Sale" or something like that. The liquor store right outside the entrance was having a closing sale as well 🤔.
I looked around to buy something to take back home, but generally there were no products manufactured within the past month or two. Most of them are a bit old. (Now is the time for new sake, what should I do?) But there were some sake with 1 discount ("In stock only"), so I decided to buy some! And 😉 .

The first thing you feel is a little sweetness.
No sourness.
It's not what you call sweet sake,
Sweetness of rice? It's delicious!
On the second day, the sweetness of the rice becomes stronger and more delicious 😋.

I got this when I went back to Akita.
This is one of the many limited edition sake that are available during the fall sake season.
Most of the limited edition sake are around 720ml in size, but this one is 300ml, which is just right for one person (I wish there were more sake in this size).
(I wish there were more sake in this size.) It tastes rich and delicious!

I have had the standard series of Fukkomachi, but this is the first time I have had the super-hot one.
Almost no sugar content at all while retaining the umami of the rice.
It is completely different from the slightly fruity series made with Association No. 1801, and has excellent sharpness.
It is slightly more mellow and dry than light.
It seems to go well with sashimi.
I ordered three kinds of sashimi.
Tuna goes well with it. The umami of the rice also stands out.
The yellowtail has a lingering taste that sticks in your mouth.
The scallop is a safe match.

It was ordered at a liquor wholesaler's exhibition.
There was a slight edge on the first day of opening the bottle, but it became moderate on the second day. The aroma is slightly sweet and apple-like, with a slightly bitter aftertaste to give it a kick. It has a bit of an "al" feeling to it. But on the third day, it seems to be more delicious as it becomes accustomed to the taste. This is another sake that can be drunk smoothly.

The aroma is relatively mild.
Sweet aroma with a hint of ripe fruit
The taste is rich sweetness that fits the image of kijoshu.
It is sweet but easy to drink with a bit of apricot and plum acidity.
Delicious!
There have been a lot of kijoshu recently, but this is a highly recommended one if you want a dessert sake that is truly a kijoshu!
