Finally opened a bottle of Onagawa Tenka Shooting Star Label that I bought locally this spring. We toasted with the people at our favorite bar. This is a brewery that I support because it is one of the most stubbornly local breweries in Akita. At the time, I bought the bottle just for the cute label and the name, but since it was unfiltered, it was fermented during storage, or perhaps originally, it was quite well carbonated. The gorgeous fruity aroma and slightly sweet taste made the glass go on. (I slightly regretted that I should have opened it alone.) I have had other Onogawa's sake, but I am proud to have a sake brewery in my hometown that makes such delicious sake. It may not be easy to find them in Tokyo, but I will continue to support them.

I purchased this locally brewed sake on a previous visit to Sawara, Katori, Chiba. The liquor store where I bought it recommended it to me as a local sake. It has a strong flavor and is very drinkable. Perhaps I feel it is even richer because I had a light sake yesterday.

We received this year's fall sake from Fukumaso Sake🍂. The jacket is as cute as ever. The taste is rather dry with a clean aftertaste and little habit, and it seems to go well with everything!

I always buy this seasonal series because of the cute labels. I buy it without really looking at what kind of sake it is, but it's a slightly sparkling sake, and if I was expecting a sweet sake, it's not sweet at all! It is a dry, slightly sparkling sake. It's refreshing and you can drink it in large gulps. To be honest, I am not a fan of sweet, slightly sparkling sake, so I was waiting for this kind of sake. I will buy another bottle before the fall sake comes out.

We continued on to Hasegawa Sake Shop. This was the first time for me to try the sake on display. According to the clerk, Asamayama is originally a Yamahai-brewed sake, but it was so delicious that it was hard to believe that it was Yamahai, with no quirks in the mouthfeel or aftertaste. It was so delicious that it was hard to believe that it was Yamahai. I could sense the seriousness of the sake brewer who disregarded the budget.

This is a limited edition celebratory sake that I had to drink as soon as possible to keep it fresh. It has a good acidity and seems to be good for when you want a refreshing drink.

This is one of the many spring-only sake that I bought when I returned to Akita. It has a robust flavor and I look forward to drinking up the oriki that collects at the bottom of the bottle. Summer is already here, so I need to drink the others soon!
