Purchased at Fukumitsuya in Roppongi's Midtown.
I always look forward to their seasonal sake (cute labels too).
I've tried the summer, fall, and now winter.
The zodiac sign label is for the New Year.
At first sip, I thought it tasted a little less sweet, but as I drank more, I could taste the sweetness.
The taste is light, but it has a full-bodied flavor.
This is one of this year's Autumn Sake that I purchased in Akita.
I don't know because I've never had the year-round type of Chiyoen, but as the description on the back says, it has a slight sourness to it. (But if it were not mentioned in the description, I might not notice it so much.)
As you drink it, you can feel a slight carbonation on your tongue. I don't know how to describe it, but the aftertaste seems bitter in a good way.
I like it.
I got this when I went back to Akita.
This is one of the many limited edition sake that are available during the fall sake season.
Most of the limited edition sake are around 720ml in size, but this one is 300ml, which is just right for one person (I wish there were more sake in this size).
(I wish there were more sake in this size.) It tastes rich and delicious!
My favorite sake I've had in Akita this year.
I decided to buy it immediately after tasting it!
It has a good sweetness, but not too much, and is easy to drink!
