Last week, when I was in Asakusa, I went to a liquor store that I had planned to visit at least once and unexpectedly found and bought a bottle of Ras 2 Yukidaruma.
I had had Kabutomushi before, but this was my first time.
I love nigori sake.
The subtle sweetness and light petiteness are nice.
It is refreshing and tastes great with a meal.
We had it with hot pot. It was delicious.
When I went to buy Toyo Bijin, I saw a snowman for sale at the point of sale: ⛄️

They said be careful opening the bottle so I opened it carefully but it opened normally 😚.
No automatic stirring either.
Let's start with the supernatant.
It tastes pretty dry.
There is not much sweetness and it runs out quickly.
Maybe it tastes dry because of the strong gas 🤔.
When mixed, the rice flavor increases, but it is still dry 😋.
This is a nigori that goes well with meals: ☺️

The taste alone is a bit on the dry side, but the smooth texture on the tongue keeps it lingering.

No sweetness, clean mouthfeel.
Not much aftertaste,
It was a little different from the image of nigori that I had expected.
I drank the whole bottle in no time at all..,
The mouthfeel was just a little mellow, then the sushuwa sensation was felt on the tongue, the mild umami of rice came to the palate, and the aftertaste melted softly at the same time as the mild sake sensation, and overall the sake was very refreshing, mild, and delicious!
When I let it sit for a while, the mildness on the palate and the umami of the rice became stronger and more delicious!
I prefer it with more time!
When I drank only the top clear, it was very light and easy to drink and felt like a juice with a stronger sweet and sour taste than the one that was mixed thoroughly! My preference was the supernatant!

Starting with the snowman ⛄️, I like the nigori type sake because you can enjoy it twice, once with the supernatant and once with the mixture 🤗.

I drank only the top clearings as recommended by the store owner, and it was interesting to see how it tasted completely different!
