Hana no Koka is famous for its production area.
It is said that this sake is only distributed in Kumamoto.
The sweetness is typical of Yamada-Nishiki.
Clear acidity.
Clear mouthfeel.
It was a very nice sake.
The aroma is faint.
When you drink it, it is very sweet. The mouthfeel is like cotton candy.
Delicate sweetness.
Melon and pear flavors. Gorgeous.
Sharper than I expected, though I thought it would have depth.
It cuts through quickly.
Taste level 3.5/5
They are now expanding their production nationwide, and this Hana-no-Kou is a sake sold only within the prefecture. I opened a Junmai Daiginjo on the spot and had to drink it lol.
But it is quite dry? I think it's a good balance of dryness and slight effervescence, which is generally irresistible. But I liked San-do better because it was sweeter. (I don't think I've ever written a review of San-Do, though.)

Souvenir from a friend in Kyushu (Fukuoka)
Silent when opened
No gassiness
Slight strawberry and melon-like top notes
The same slightly fruity aroma as on the top rise, moist sweetness and firm rice umami spread with soft acidity, and finish with a moderate slight bitterness, leaving a lingering rice umami aftertaste and a smooth finish.
The rice umami is well balanced with a strong sense of umami.
It goes well with meals and is also delicious on its own.
It went well with Wakame Udon noodles.
Good evening, MasaakiSapporo.
Your friend's choice is great ⤴️
I'd love to try Hana no Kou, and from your post it sounds like I'd like it too, so that makes me even more curious ✨.
Masaki Sapporo-san, good evening 😀
I see you drank Hana-no-Kaosan 😀.
I also love sansho and want to try Hana no Kaori at least once, but I haven't had the chance to meet him yet 🤣.
I'm jealous 😅
Masaaki Sapporo good evening 😁.
Great choice of souvenir for your friend 😍
I knew about cherry blossoms chrysanthemum blossoms, but there are also ume blossoms ‼️ they go well with wakame udon noodles 😁.
The land of deepened ties.
My favorite drink 🍶.
I was happy the other day
I thought I got it.
No, it wasn't.
Umehana to Sakurahana.
Then came the umami.
Then a hint of sweetness.
And a touch of bitterness.
I love it!

Sweet and tasty, different from the production area. It is massive😊.
Reminded me of the feeling I had when I drank Jyushiyo.
Hmmm... I think I like this one better😊.
I would like to try drinking the Kikka and Umehana 😊.
Ate,
Basil cheese, goes well with it😊.
Convenience store, yakisoba, goes well with it😊.
Memories of my trip to Kumamoto on my Kyushu trip.
After the typhoon passed, we visited the Catholic Church of Sakitsu in Amakusa. A very remote area. I wonder if this is where the hidden Christians fled and arrived. I drove through the Amakusa area in a rented car, thinking about those days 😊.
Purchased when I went to Kumamoto.
It has a strong flavor, but the aftertaste is clean and refreshing.
The aftertaste is refreshing.
Delicious.
I am also looking forward to the sansho I purchased with it.
